We need a better effort tonight from the forward group and we'll need some offence from our defence to have a chance. I expect the team to be better. Go Nucks...
PS: Flyers can't seem to score in the playoffs this year either? |

He is definitely right. Same story as always
We have a 12.2 mil center (Hank and Daniel )that are trying to feed the likes of 2 nd rate scorers
A moron coach
A 4.2 Mil benchwarmer
A 5.3 Back up.
Gillis did a horrible job and the Canucks have only one gear . Calm
I think this will be a short series and I hope they do look at making major moves in the summer. |

How about a better effort from the coaching staff? 2 scoring lines and 2 checking lines. This team can no longer role out 4 scoring lines. Back to basics. |

We don't have four scoring lines, unless you're really high on Lapierre?
Sound like, via twitter, Kesler is skating on RW with Roy this morning. That said, Sharks went with three offensive lines and they won? They went with Thornton Pavelski and Couture as their top three centres, we went with Hank Kesler Roy, don't see the big difference.
They were just better. |

"Ryan Kesler was moved to the wing, and skated on a line with Derek Roy and Chris Higgins, as Vigneault may be trying to load up that second line." |

Possible? It's in the bag, esp if Sharks stop cheating!! Whaaaa

The one thing that always puzzles me, is how the home team gets kicked out of the circle if they have the right to be the second guy to put his stick down.
road teams stick down, home teams stick down, drop the puck. Shouldn't be that simple? |

Wow, really? AV is already crying. It was bad enough the last time the Sharks faced the Canucks. Vancouver was easily winning the series and he still found a way to cry in his press conferences. We lose Havlat after he is speared in the groin, but yes let's talk about cheating in face offs.
In others news, I expect a big push back from Vancouver. San Jose lead the Blues 1-0 in last years playoffs so forgive me it I am not calling the series wrapped up.

All three Shark centres were great. Ours, not so much. All three were non factors. I have no confidence in Kesler's game, injured or not. I think we have to load up two lines and hope for the best. |

Why the pessimism? So we lost a game, big (frank)in deal.
Detroit lost a game.
Anaheim lost a game.
Los Angeles lost two games.
Montreal lost a game.
NYR lost a game. |

Then it's up to the players to be better. And it sounds like they're making changes to the lines for today to create more offence, guess we'll see how it goes. I expect, as I said, a much better game tonight. |

Because they haven't played a solid stretch of competitive hockey in almost two years. |
