What bothers me about these playoffs is look how many guys the oil have let go to free agency that are important parts to there team now... jarret stoll (faceoff ace for la), kyle brodziak great fourth line/3rd line centre who wins faceoffs and plays gritty who can score, and matt greene who hasn't played yet but st louis is having a lot more room to move without him on the ice then last year with him on the ice... way to go kevin lowe... marincin is mean who cares if he might have a bad attitude try him out before you trade him. And gernat is a left handed puck moving defenceman don't the oil need that?

Haha very true garth articles are hard to even read

Why am I an Oiler fan and a Blue jay fan. Every off season I get all jacked up by moves or draft picks that are made only to get dumped on when the real season starts.

I dont think you said anything about how he left EDM. But im sure it was the Lubo trade for him and Greene both.

At the time Stoll and Green for Lubo visnosky Looked pretty good but should have done more home work to make sure Lubo actually wanted to play for the oilers

I dont think you said anything about how he left EDM. But im sure it was the Lubo trade for him and Greene both.

Your right it was for greene and stoll and I remember being excited for that trade. just another example of oiler managment not looking past their furst round draft pick. I like how MacT is approaching everything though by being very up front about what the team needs

Moroz isn't on the Oil Kings for offense. The series against the Hitman was a perfect example of it. When a Hitman player stuck out a knee on a blatant attempt to injure, Ewanyk and Moroz went nuts the next shift. They were attempting to destroy which ever Calgary player the could find.

I know he has chipped in 15 goals in the last two seasons, but Moroz's role won't be offense. You would know this if you ever watched the Oil Kings and didn't just look at the stat page from their website.
