That was one of my theories yesterday. I was then informed of some "things"today and realized there was no connection there.

She is the worst. Who the hell gives a rats ass about anything she wrote. Isles fans know what channel the (frank)ing team plays on. Terrible. Cant wait until she is gone.

I'm just glad that we have an HD feed of that series. MSG doesn't give Canadians an HD feed for the Center Ice package.

I've defended her in the past. Just not sure a diehard fansite like this needs a novice blogger. I appreciate that she's a big fan but there isn't much she can offer here other than a novelty blog

There is nothing wrong with the channel that the Isles play on. Its a sports network that the Isles, Rangers, Devils and Knicks all share. Why she feels the need to complain about it is beyond me. Its rather sad to see but hopefully Dee will be gone once the Isles move to Brooklyn. Its 20 miles away from where the Coliseum is but Dee makes it seems as if we will be playing in Alaska.

Would be cool if eventually the Isles moved to SNY with the Mets. That channel is starving for more sports. Only so much Mets baseball that people can have shoved in their face

I have a Directv sub, for upper New York State and MSG is my regional carrier. The blackout policy is ridiculous. We get all of the Sabres games, 95% of the Rangers games and about 57% of the Islanders and Devils. No rhyme or reason on what games that they blackout and when.

Does she get a bonus for posting the most blogs? This one is going to be up here about 12 hours until the next 'game day' blog.

I still think Garth and Cloutier are miles ahead in most blogs.

Wouldn't mind the Yes channel either. The issue becomes do they have spill over channels when the multiple teams are playing at the same time.

The NHL needs to reign in some of these franchise rights holders. Comcast, MSG, they're the worst to deal with. Why should they have special status, in regards to the Center Ice package? I thought all teams benefited from the Center Ice package? The fans are getting shafted, because the providers are having issues. The providers should be told, either get in line with this, or lose your rights to your local team. It should be about the fans, not the providers.

Congress favors it because the rule benefits the local economy (in theory). The idea is they want you watching the local commercials so you'll (supposedly) spend more.
