Here's to a 5-1 Hawks beat down of the Canucks! Get CC feeling good about his game and make Vancouver know were a force to be reckoned with...

I thought 5 losses was possible on the first nine game road trip so here is to a season of 44 games and only 5 losses in regulation.

We all can find things to complain about but hell of a season.
Hoping Crawford does play well because I am one of the few who is not an
Emery fan.

Congrats to Pirri for winning the AHL scoring race and the surprise of the year for me has been the play of Saad and Leddy

No call ups from Rockford? Why not? Shouldnt we try to rest some guys? Is there a cap issue with a call up?

This game worries me. 3rd in 4 nights, after a cross continent flight on Sunday. Just hope we pick up a W and don't pick up any injuries.

Be interesting to see if Q sits anyone this evening...Kuc's article in the Trib this morning suggests just that and alluded to Keith and a couple of others possibly getting the night off - we all know the Nucks and what they're about and its certainly not hockey.

This is certainly a big game for Crawford as JJ mentions. After two forgettable performances he needs a solid outing here. Hope Bolland has a big night against the Sisters.

JJ - what happened to the Dave Bolland nugget from last week and possible trade?

Around the draft.

Got another nugget that could go down around that time too involving prospects and picks.

If they sit guys of Keith's caliber, they don't have a very good chance of winning in this building. IMO, this is the one last game where they should play the regulars and go 100% before letting a couple of guys sit.

Yea, bet those first class flights are quite difficult. All that waiting in long TSA lines. They probably board with A,B & C boarding passes. Just imagine sitting next to a crying baby.

No doubt, you can rest them in Edmonton!!! Canucks haven't been scoring so it would be good for the mindset to lay a whooping on them..

This could be the game the Canucks decide to exact revenge on Keith so if the Hawks do decide to sit him it may not be a bad thing.

Well part of it is that you can't just "turn it on" come playoff time. The Hawks might play a team like Columbus that's been playing playoff games for two weeks now and getting better with each game. ( Of course, they may play a free falling Minnesota team too.) You have to stay sharp. I think Rockford gang will be here in due time.

But this game is so unimportant that it really doesn't matter. There isn't any litmus test. They're currently +40 over this team in goal differential and over 16 points better in the standings. They're a better team than the Canucks. Just play the game, iron out the kinks, stay sharp and don't get hurt.

You look around the league and there is still alot cheap/dirty hits and felonys with the sticks goining on...so far the hwks have avoided being on receiving end of any of those with season ending implications let alone avoiding the injury bite all together other than Sharp. This is major concern these last 4 gmes as well as when the overall level of play increases come playoffs.

I talk about this in my latest:

I agree with JJ that this is a game you play your regulars tonight but then I would look to rest some.

seriously , wtf is wrong with these guys using their sticks and elbows as career enders.

Very nervous about the llast few games, want the Hawks to be healthy going into the playoffs.

The Hawks should field a full line up and go balls to the wall tonight . If they sit back or even sit a few guys the game could get out of hand and thats when injuries are more likely to happen.

Of course I would lve the Hawks to dent Vancouvers goalie psychee a bit tonight . We'll see , should be a fun one.

They went that route the first gme of the between them; 2nd gme not so much. Maybe they will call of the goon squad tactics but then again just consider their coach.

These teams split shoot outs wins so far; probably expect similar tonight.

If Q has even a sniff of that, betcha dollars to donuts, if Keith skates, Bollig skates tonight. And he takes an instigator. And AV knows it.

Nothing to lose.
