For winning something, I would like for it to be a Stanley Cup.
Also, good on Ray for taking Jack to task, but also kudos to Jack for manning up to an apology. Let's just move on. Tomorrow night is gonna be worse in Ottawa. Unleash Steve McIntyre |

Should coach Bylsma factor into how well the Pens have played without their stars when determining whether they potentially sit out a playoff game (or more) if they aren't 100 percent?
No. It's the playoffs. If you lose a game, it could come back to haunt you |

Maybe they are being extra cautious with some of them. And yes, I think it's important to get them 2-3 games before the playoffs just to get their feet wet and into game shape. Hard to sit back and see other players getting the Art Ross away from the virtual Hart winner this year..but I guess the Stanley Cup is the prize we all want |

I saw somewhere crosby wants to play 3 games before the playoffs which I think is necessary especially since with all the new additions coming at the same time as the injuries they haven't got the opportunity to build a wrong on-ice chemistry |

I saw somewhere that Crosby refuses to play until shero trades for one of his friends like Armstrong or jack Johnson. The whole broken jaw scenario was just created by the media |

Peter Forsberg missed the entire 2001-2002 season but returned for the playoffs. Led the playoffs in scoring with 27 points even though the Avs lost in the WCF.

an 80% Geno is better than no Geno. Even just for the sole factor that other teams will try and match their shutdown line and d pairing against him leaving the rest of the lineup vulnerable to the rest of the pens.
Just having malkin, or neal or bing back is a nightmare for any other team in match ups. |

Bruins announcer rips Matt Cooke and the Pittsburgh media during Saturday's contest - the-mitch-wilsons
Never been a fan of Jack. I guess he can be called a repeat offender now because within the last couple years he definitely had an incident with the Panthers GM where he had to apologize for something he said during a broadcast. My fuzzy memory thinks Jack said the team should be moved because they suck and nobody goes to the games (paraphrasing obviously). |

"It's great to get the 20th, but, like I said before, I would for sure switch those goals for seventh spot in the East," Voracek said
Any reason he'd say the 7th spot, but not 8th? |

I think this was calculated. I guess nobody wants the Pens in a 7 game series. The Hawks are having a very impressive year as well. |

Don't care who we play. I feel this team can handle about anything. The stars should play when able. If resting them helps then rest, if they are ready then they should play. And yes the only award we want is the Stanley Cup. Everthing else is nice but that is the big prize for all!!!! Let's Go Pens!!! |

Jordan Staal
REGULAR SEASON GP 44 G 9 A 19 P 28 +/- -19
Brandon Sutter
REGULAR SEASON GP 44 G 11 A 5 P 16 +/- +2
I'll accept that trade any day when you're adding a #8 overall pick in Derrick Pouliot and a good future depth d-man in Brian Dumoulin.
Jordan's +/- is terrible right now.. |

I don't care either. I think they'll shred any of those teams though I believe the Rags will take their pound of flesh on their way out.
Was reading on Tiops that Geno and Neal would be playing if these games were important. Also said Cooke might not play and possibly Big Mac will get a spot too......hmm, wonder if the Pens think the Sens want some retribution?
Letang is sick, might not make the trip.

Sid and Hossa only played three games together going into the 2008 playoffs I think, and they worked well together.
Sid has chemistry with any likely linemates he'll have.

I would send our AHL team to Ottawa just in case they have alterior motives.

Wow, I can't believe I missed that. Maybe its just the most likely award that this team gets and I took it for granted. Oh well! I switch my vote to other. |

Well of course we want them to win the Cup. What would be the point of listing that and then the other options as if someone would vote for those? Is someone seriously going to vote for Brooks Orpik leading the league in shots over winning the Cup? I'm sure the poll was meant for what awards or accolades, besides the ultimate one, you would like to see the team or a player get.
Jackass Edwards should be ashamed of himself. Sounds like something stupid Mark Madden would say. I think Edwards was shoved in a locker room one too many times in high school. What a moron. |
