"If they can dish it out, they can take it back"

-Ryan Miller

You know what, Millsy? We've been "taking it" for seven f$%king seasons!!!

No playoffs for 5 of those, and first round exits in the other two. Can you blame us for wanting change?!?!

You've been a great goalie for us, no doubt. Just like Pommer was a great winger for us and, dare I say, perhaps the most consistent Sabre of his generation. But, the ugly truth is that neither of you, along with the rest of your teammates (past and present), have delivered us a championship, let alone make the damn playoffs consistently.

Well, we're sick of it.

We, as passionate fans, just ask for a hard-working team that shares our passion, night in and night out, and we've shown we'll embrace that. And most of these past seven years, the lack of hard work and passion has been the difference between making the playoffs and not.

So, again I ask you, can you blame us?

Kessel's talented, no doubt. I hope the kid has a bit more heart than Phil the thrill.

ryan miller is a top goalie lost in a garbage organization in a city loaded with fans who are borderline retarded. they are able to stay in games when they get outshot 45-15 and he still takes the blame. the fans are going to rush him and vanek out of town so they can see what its like to have a really bad team. i look forward to seeing enroth and hackett as the goalies next yr. the fans are going to be dumbfounded when they realize theyve been fed a line of garbage about how hackett is going to be so great. darcy has a way of rolling a turd in sugar and calling it a candy bar and the fans and owner chew and smile yr after yr. have fun dumping on the 2 players left on the team that are worth a damn. for their sake i hope they both go to a team and a city that knows the slightest thing about hockey and gives them a chance to win.

I still don't get how the Panthers can survive as a franchise with their consistent failures. They've made it past the first round only once in their franchise history, only making it to the playoffs 4 times. I think the fact that they're in such a terrible hockey market contributes to my confusion. I'm surprised they haven't been moved yet.

In a league where you basically have a50% chance of making the playoffs and you MISS them 4 out of 6 seasons then this falls on the GM (obviously).

Admit when you're wrong Terry. Take the medicine, fire Darcy, and move forward.

4 out of 6 seasons... And they tried to succeed.

I might be biased in saying this but I feel like he definitely plays with a lot more determination/intensity. His offensive skill should mask his lack of defensive awareness (it's been working for him all these years)

I have no idea. In a way I feel bad for the players there. Though some of them chose to be there. In a way I wanted to see them do well, because I really like Dineen. I wanted him to be the coach here. But I don't think it's in the cards for them to ever actually be a successful franchise in any way. Whether it's performance on the ice or as a viable fan base.

Their location is probably why. Bettman's goal has always been to make hockey well known across the united states including the south.
