Well said Ty. The game was secondary to the powerful moments of the anthem and post game salute. Boston Strong indeed. - Terrier13
It was awesome to listen to 20,000 + sing the anthem on my truck radio. This is 'Merica! Where the awesome outnumber the douchebags a million fold, always
Thanks. It's also on NHL.com. What a great moment when somewhat bitter rivals can come together like that for something meaningful. The Boston crowd singing the national anthem gave me chills. Boston strong indeed!
amazing atmosphere in Beantown tonight, unlike no other. National Anthem was literally vibrating my walls as if I had bass turned up on a loud song. Beautiful scene at the end with them all saluting, you could see the emotion through the Sabres' players eyes let alone the Bruins.
Spectacular showcase of hockey and humanity tonight. My Devils probably aren't making it, that being said, go get it B's!

A great night for the city, both teams gave it their best effort for the fans. Really cool to see the Sabres salute the crowd with the Bruins at the end.
As for the actual game there were a ton of positives that might have been overshadowed by only scoring 2 goals on a brilliant Miller performance. Bergeron line was fantastic, Paille continues to be a lock for the 7th player award winner. Jagr's offensive zone play has been brilliant in just about every game he has played in so far for Boston.
Lucic, demoted to 4th line duty didn't elevate his game at all and it was disappointing but not surprising. Can't wait to see if Soderberg plays Friday.

Great game tonight guys. - Tsyolin
Saw this on TSN and thought it would be a nice picture to get framed. I can't recall the last time two NHL teams that played against each other did this.
Lucic moved to the 5th line (scratches) at practice this morning. - GSDIV
srsly? i hope so. glider gooch is a complete train wreck right now. can't hit, can't finish and lets kaleta get away with running krejci and jagr. the only thing he did last night was hand the sabres a double minor. scratch him for the swede making ~1/8 his salary.
redden looks like an improvement over quaider and bartkowski and maybe he won't throw the puck in the stands when it's 6-5.
ference went from hero to goat in roughly 4 minutes. bergy gets beat by ott on the goal scoring faceoff and chara gets out muscled by hodgson in front of the goal. deja vu all over again.
habs or b's will back into the #2 seed and both will likely get bounced in the first round. at least the habs (emelin) have a decent excuse.
on the brighter side, rene rancourt had his best performance ever and he only sang the first few bars.
