I don't really understand this rough and tough mentality people talk about..
but right now that doesn't matter. God bless the victims and the people that helped. True heroes

Have visited Boston myself, and walked the Back Bay and that section of Boylston specifically. Very hard to watch the footage of today's events.

I have a friend that ran the marathon, and he said he was a block away when the first explosion went off, and they hustled to the sidewalk on Boylston. Then the second explosion happened - directly across the street from them. He said in different circumstances, that's where he would have been. Thankfully, he's fine, but that's scary.

Condolences, thoughts and well wishes to those affected. And that is all of us.

I just learned that a friend of mine got hurt in the bombing, but her injuries aren't critical. That's such a load off.

Good blog sir. The city of Boston will get through this, us Americans are very resilient. I know the Garden will be crazy Wednesday, will be emotional for both teams. Buffalo is thinking of you tonight.

Nicely written.

Glad that you're safe, it's a shame that it takes a catastrophic event like that to bring the best out of people... Hope the (frank)ers responsible get what's coming to them.

Great read,
after everything with hockey and how the fans can, it is good to know that when disaster strikes everyone can get a long and help support those suffering.

sickening senseless act and those responsible will get there's.

I hope I'm lucky enough to visit the city of Boston someday because it is a fantastic city that will rebound and come back even stronger.

Condolences to the people and families affected by this tragedy.

Fantastic stuff, Ty. great read and heartfelt words.

been a Bruins fan since I was 4, and Boston is the only place in the US I have ever been, go almost every single year to catch a B's game or 2 and I absolutely LOVE the city and it people and MOSTLY it's sports heritage.

Obviously with this sports takes a back seat and I wish everyone hurt a speedy recovery, everyone who has lost someone my condolences and to everyone effected, heads up and hopefully everyone can get through this.

Thoughts and Prayers from North of the Boarder today to all you Boston residents and sports fans!
