I'm a Crawford fan but I really don't have a preference about who plays in net. Put in whomever gives us the better chance to win. We have 2 pretty good goalies so it doesn't matter.

Emery was off the ice first this morning so it looks like he's starting again.

Not sure what Q is gonna do. But Craw's next couple starts will tell who the #1 starter is. Especially since Crawford is paid like one, its most likely him.

The Calgary game erased most doubts in my mind. Having to play that straight string while CC was shhhh concussed wiped it all out.

I am of two minds of the hawks gunning for home ice throughout the playoffs. The ice is a major issue. Weather is warming up and it looks like the bulls will be inthe playoffs which will make it worse.

I thought Carcillo looked much better on Sunday. If he has his health back, and can crack the lineup, he also checks the boxes people were looking for at the deadline, big gritty forward.

And I loved Kane's fore check that led to the 4th goal. Shows you don't need to run the D-man through the end boards to be an effective fore checker. Patrick has taken his game to a new level this season.

Q will have the luxury of riding the hot goaltender. But if that guy ends up being Emery it will make for an interesting off season. But let's worry about the playoffs first.

My opinion is emery will not get out of position and will make all the normal saves
Crawford has more upside but looses net and the occasional bad goal from loosing his net
Based on hawks being favorites to win you go with the guy with less risk of a bad game and play to your strength of having better personnel in front of emery that the other team has in front of their goalie

The Blackhawks confirmed on Twitter that Emery is staring tonight. One of the beat writers also confirmed that Q said Crawford will get a start this weekend (likely Friday)

I think Q plays the hot hand! Two weekend's ago it was Craw with the great showing against the Wing's so he got the Pred's on Monday. Then Ray Plays Lights out on Saturday and gets the Sunday game. If you are playing good you will get the nod. But first game of the playoff's will probably go to Cory unless Ray has a shut out streak going into the dance!
