Did Larry brooks (when referring to the isles making the playoffs) just write "our islanders"??? That's too funny!

Also did anyone catch the blog about PK Subban being a finalist for the Norris? I said it before the season, the isles shoulda tried to pluck him from Montreal. Anyone here not think a Norris trophy candidate (only a few years in the league) not worth 5 or 6 million?

Wow. Dee. I feel bad for you guys. She is promoting The Hanson Bros? If I am an Isles I'm watching the Leafs/Rangers no? I know I have been locked into what the Isles are doing. You know? It's freaking fun that the rivalry is about to swing back into full vitriol!

It's what the area needs. All three teams involved, the health of hockey needs a Rangers/Isles playoff series. Been too long.

Wow... I can't believe the Isle and Wash crawled into the playoff race. Keep it going, it's not going to get any easier.

So which team would Isles fans like to face: Pitts or Mtl?

Of course we'll be watching the game. I know you already know this but that hack never speaks for any real islander fan. My guess is she doesn't even know the rangers are playing the leafs tonight

So here's an update from Bport. Anders Nilsson has a red blood cell deficancy. It caused him to lose the weight be sluggish like he is sick... they finally have a plan in place with vitamins and constant checking his levels and IV's when necesary. He was able to dress as the backup this weekend so all signs are pointing to him making a recovery. Kiril Kabanov is having nerve issues since he was cut. the nerves have not completely regenerate yet and it has affected his shot and passing. They think everything will be fine but he is just not there yet. Finally..... Strome is a FUN watch.

Will you ever post a facking blog without factual errors? My god you have no clue and the fact that they keep you as a blogger is a joke. Have a little pride in what you attempt to do

Thanks for the update. Hopefully Nilsson can over come that. I'm curious to see what he can do between the pipes. Sucks about kabanov but hopefully a full off season will heal that arm

I'll be glued to the tv. One of the few times I'll actually be cheering for the laffs. Rags have been playing good hockey since the deadline. Lundvquist has been superb. They need to lose tonight!!!

Good info. Thanks for the updates. Hope Nilsson can get that stuff sorted out...is this something he'll be dealing with and monitoring his whole life or something he'll recover from and not have to think about anymore? Sounds like a long-term thing.

Strome and Nelson...you just expect something good to happen when they're on the ice at this point.

Is the last part even a freaking serious question? And you can't believe about the Islanders? Start believing. They're not much of a surprise, they've been gradually getting better and better for a long time now- it's only your fault for not paying attention until now.

strome and nelson are filthy together and nino joined them on the power play... Nino also looked great with Ulstrom and Persson. I was impressed with Pedan..he needs to bulk up and get stronger but he is a tree and is a good skater

Well...they haven't accomplished anything yet and have been a consistent bottom-5 team for years. Their relevance at this point of this season is not really much different than Florida's last season or Columbus' this season -- both surprises.
