question.......i know eriksson's name has been floated around a lot as a desired target, atleast in teh sens blog.

it's rumoured that ottawa might be able to get a 1st for ben bishop, if so..........

if murray calls nieuwendyk and offers two 1st rd picks for eriksson, does that get a deal done? or is he one of the few untouchables on this team?

Benn and Eriksson are pretty much untouchable. I can't see the team trading Oleksiak. They are very high on Dillon and a couple other young defensemen in the system as well as forward Cody Eakin and 2012 first-round pick Radek Faksa (despite his junior season not going as planned).

I agree with the approach taken by the Stars. The only trade return that I question is Jagr's. I was hoping that return would have included an unconditional 1st. All of the other trades I thought were pretty reasonable.

Bill, I assume Reilly Smith being sent down was to make him eligible for the AHL playoffs and will probably be recalled - is this correct? I hope we finally see Fraser with top six minutes for an extended time.

Correct. Agree about Fraser -- let's see if he can score at NHL level, too.
