What would the price be if Ottawa were to inquire about Mason Raymond? I have always liked him.

I think it will be Lu for Mathias or Lu to a team packaged with a big player.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Gillis is probably using that as leverage in negotiations, especially since he doesn't have a NTC and can be shipped out anywhere and plus a guy like that has bounced around so much that he probably just wants to stay in one city for a few years for once. I just hope that Gillis doesn't hand out a NTC to a third liner.

If Lu gets traded, my money is also on a Matthias or Bozak deal with some other parts involved. No blockbuster star for star player deal though, those just rarely happen, especially at the TDL.

I don't think a trade would work with Ottawa. If the Canucks were to trade Raymond, an offensive upgrade would have to come back. The Canucks can't score.

Yeah, you're running out of daily trade proposal ideas. You're screwed next year when Ballard is gone, Edler's NTC kicks in and Lu is likely gone.

Matthias deal isn't going to happen. Because he has finally broke out and Lu on our team will hurt our draft position we are already out of the playoffs. And markstrom has been playing well. So I just don't see it happening.

He would be a nice fit for the bottom 6. Big guy with some skill and a two-way game. Not very physical, but still useful. Gillis would probably also want a B type prospect or a 2nd though. Not sure Tallon would do that though unless Gillis takes on Kopecky or Upshall.
