We win, we take two points and on the the next game. We all know the NHL officials are special and that Garon is as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Without Lindback we are vulnerable and we will continue to have issues like that. I was happy to wake up his morning on this side of the win column. Go Bolts!

Good morning! I told you I hoped you'd wake up to a win, and voila! Yzerman has got to do something about goaltending if the team wins on Tuesday.

I've moved on. Give me Luongo, he'll come cheaper.

OH HELL NO.

Tampa or anyone else should BE able to get Bernier after the playoffs for a 1st rounder and a good prospect or a top 6/4 d. And he will be completely worth the price of admission.

Thats what they believed about Lindback.

Its time to go with someone PROVEN, not hopeful.

What have Luongo and Miller proven? How to suck when it counts?

Linback will be back next week. Start Desjardin against Florida and go with Lindback and Desjardin the rest of the way. Let Garon go now as it seems he knows he's gone anyway. Let the team play better defensively first before pulling the plug. Everyone will be cheaper during the summer and all your trading pieces healthy. We have two against each team in our division except the Jets and Buffalo and the Isles that are not in the top eight. The Pens, Boston Monteal, Toronto and Ottawa fill out the rest. So what do you think we win ? Do we get twenty two points out of this or wait for the summer?

miller at least has shown that he can carry a united states olympic team to an overtime gold medal game. dude got a standing ovation for his performance on a silver medal team.

dont blame miller for the disaster that is the sabres. miller has show what he can do with a talented team and tampa bay is certainly a talented team. not all star us olympic caliber, but tampa bay is deep with offensive talent, thats for sure.

But I don't think he is worth what everyone is saying. Sabres fans want him gone but they want the whole bank for him. You will be lucky to get two seconds and an AHL'er in my opinion.

Just a terrific write up Michael. You are undoubtedly one of the better writers on this site and your hockey knowledge and unbiased articles are always a joy to read. I've been reading your stuff since you really picked up again this season and always enjoy them.

great game by the bolts! Cooper didn't look worried behind the bench all night and you can tell he is already getting into the heads of his team. There were a few too many odd man rushes and breakaways, (from weak or drop passes no doubt) but overall they showed a lot of determination! This team is really starting to take shape and becoming a group that will contend for years to come. I think its becoming apparent that Guy was the problem.

the guys are lucky to have a 3 day break for more time with the new coach, so here's looking forward to Tuesday!

If Lindback is coming back, I doubt they are keeping Desjardin longer than they have to. He is needed back in Syracuse for the deep run to the Calder. I hope you're right, Lindback is just what they need. last night would've been a 4-1 game

Yes but Garon could go now rather than in 14 games. He is playing out the string anyway- he's just doesn't have his head in the game. There are enough goalies to take care of Cuse. The Bolts come before the Crunch. Give the guys who still want a chance to play

I agree that the big club comes before the crunch but with so much talent in our prospects in Cuse at the moment, it makes more sense to give them a better chance for next year, considering where we are standing at the moment.

earlier , in the ryan miller blog i stated that maybe trade purcell and brewer +a 1st for leopold and miller.
the more i watch purcell play the more i love him and regret that statement...
the way he carries the puck into the offensive zone during the powerplay is HUGE he has no problem getting it in deep on his own and setting up the PP..and it really helps out marty and stamkos , as they can set up where they need to be to produce and not worry about doing it themselves, purcell has really impressed me on the powerplay, the way he controls the puck is amazing to me!

anyways, great win for us :D now only 4 pts back and Lindback coming back soon, I cannot wait! Maybe if we stay solid Lindback can finally get the stellar numbers he deserves, he is a great goalie..just young is all

GO BOLTS!

i was looking and couldn't find one
i saw it live, well .."saw" it
i was watching the play develope and to the side of the screen i saw it out of the corner of my eye basically..i was wondering if there was going to be a penalty but there ended up not being one...so i never thought of it to be a hit to the head but i guess it was !
