Firstly there is no way jaybo would ever waive to go to the oilers, at least this year. Even if he did flames would want way more then the oilers would ever want to give up. Not going to happen |

Ya, if Calgary trades him, good bye to the playoffs for a LONG time. |

he will want to follow iggy footstep. jaybo probably wants a crack at a cup at some point soon. he hungers for playoff experience. |

Wasn't JayBo charged in Edmonton for Drunk Driving? I think that is factor why he doesn't want to go to Edmonton. |

I really cant see Flames trading J-BO to the oilers and I would be surprised if he wouldnt want to go to a contending team.
Which is too bad, cause J-bo and schultz would look really good together on that first pairing. |

I love the deal. I have Kamloops Blazers season tickets and when they brought Kessy in it helped turned the season around. He can hit, score and play up and down the line up, PP Or PK. Good deal. |

I love how everyone says "he would never play here!!!" Like anyone really knows.Unless your his agent, his brother, best man at his wedding, or one of his parents, you are only speculating and don't actually know jack-poop! Maybe a few years ago he thought that. Mike Comrie's first run was rough here.Players take notice. Maybe things are different now. JayBo isn't going to be "the guy" here by any stretch. Then again, he might want to try this playoff's thing.
Also..is Smid not realistically, on a winning team, a 5-6 pairing D-Man? Those guys don't make over 3 million ever.I would love to keep him, but I would only pay him a 3rd pairing salary. |

Richard Cloutier: Rieder for Kessy; Oilers Want JayBo - Maxbone
If JBo, along with Petry, Klefbom and Schultz is the ideal Top 4, you gotta figure that DeKeyser, Klefbom, Petry and Schultz were less than ideal. It doesn't seem like JBo is anything like DeKeyser.
So why were you so interested Danny D as a piece of the puzzle? |

But you know! Edmonton will take Lander's potential over Lucic any day. |

JBo is ideal, but no way the Flames trade him to the Oilers. |
