There are two extremely meaningful things you're missing here.

Logic doesn't allow for the bruins to load up for a playoff run, and immediately dump Lucic. That's counter productive.

The other.. Horton is a UFA. They essentially replace him with iginla. With Horton walking.. The bruins have about 10 mil in cap space. It far from leaves them in trouble cap wise. They probably flip Horton at the deadline.

I feel sorry for iggy as he has been the man there his whole career, he now has a shot at a cup and lengthy playoff run, but will not be easy for him to move from cowtown to boston.

Well clouts i can't fault your logic. I Hope to high heavens your right i want lucic badly myself and i agree fans are turning on this team. I Myself have started to get frustrated with the team and i've been a fan all my life of 23 years. I want this big deal to happen like crazy but sadly as someone said the other day tambo doesn't have the grapefruits to do anything bold. I think even if he just pulled off one big move to show us that he really cares about winning and making this team better the fans will ease off the hate and give him a little more time. As it stand I'm willing to give them the rest of this year and maybe next year and then i might have to get out, it's too depressing to watch them lose all the time and the higher ups do nothing to help the kids out.
