As I posted on the last blog, I'm sick of everyone underrating our good young players, so I'm going to repost this.
As an honest-to-God, dyed-in-the-wool Oilers fan, I think this is a terrible deal for Edmonton.
Ryan Whitney, if he works on his footspeed, could be the next Scott Niedermayer with that offensive capability. Magnus Paajarvi is a solid player should be 2nd or even 1st liner in the future with good coaching.
To throw a young stud like Anton Lander into that deal, all for some hunchbacked goon who leaches off his superior teammates... It makes me mad. Maybe if Boston threw in Hamilton and a pick, I heard he was pretty good. |
