This is a poorly coached, highly undisciplined team that lacks focus and direction. Changes are coming. They're getting a good player in the draft.

why act so surprised, did you think they were going to come out and win? nothing has changed since the first week of the season, same old story, players are playing with no heart and are complimented with poor coaching.

It's clear that this team, as assembled currently from coach on down, is a trainwreck right now.
God Tim; you must be LOVING this season.

Blow it up and start over. No heart on this team with few exceptions. Also a severe lack of talent and depth especially on the blue line. Get some good prospects or picks. Let the kids play out the season...see what we got.

I would also add that they're a farily soft team. Easily muscled off the puck and even off their skates at times. When was the last time you saw a Flyer stand up for one of his teammates? This team has quit on its coach, the fans and each other.

That's an issue, too. There's little accountability.

lavy is a good coach.... u cant blame him for this season....his is an intense coach who knows what he is doing....this debacle is on the players and mostley on management...i liked holmgren when he took over he made some great moves.....but he took a major step back this year

Holmgren's moves or rather, lack thereof during the last off season notwithstanding, with his swings and misses all taken into account, and a few spot repair moves on D, he still put a squad on the ice that SHOULD have produced a much better result than the Mediocrity we've seen this season... Lack of accountability with the players also noted.....But your foolin' yourself and ONLY yourself if you think this coach isn't deserving of a Lion's share of the culpability.....All of your points respectfully taken into consideration, The Flyers BIGGEST issue this season is Systematic! When EVERY team in the league(Especially Division rivals) have your team andn their Style of play PEGGED as pathetically predictable on a game in-game-out basis, Your coach is failing....Miserably

As much as it kills me to say it, have to agree. Laviolette is a one trick pony. It's ultra aggressive forecheck or bust! There's a reason why it's sink or swim with his teams.
