funny ... our chances at making the playoffs didn't exactly take much of a hit over the past 6 days. I almost wish they did, if just to put us out of our misery. not enough 3 point games, I suppose.

I'm convinced the Flyers will play very well over the final 18 games, and still be in the hunt with 2 or 3 games left ... before breaking our hearts one more time this year.

just when we think we're out, they'll pull us back in.

It's hard to root for losses...as much as making the playoffs is bad, I can't help but hope they squeak in

Stretching "gameday" to its limit.

The Flyers are going to win, snapping the Pens 11 game streak, sending them into a bit of a tailspin while leading the Flyers on a streak of their own that will see them inside the playoff bubble.

Yeah, this whole losing thing is bullpoop. I want them to win in every single game. What's the point of watching a sport if you're actively rooting for the team to lose? For who? For what? A higher draft pick for a supposedly "good" player. We could Seth Jones this summer, he could be primed in two seasons, come up and in his first game, take a Matt Cooke elbow to the head and never be the same.

Then you gotta ask yourself, was it worth it?

The Flyers just need to get their heads out of their asses and play good team defense. Ottawa lost the services of Spezza and Karlsson and they're doing just fine.

I won't hope they lose, but I only want them to win tomorrow and the two games against the Rags.

Let Briere center the 3rd line. This guy needs to be the center of attention. But seriously, him on wing is so cringe.

The Penguins are the first team in NHL history to record a 10+ game win streak in three consecutive seasons. The Flyers ended both of the streaks the last two seasons at home. Today, they have the chance to end the third in front of the Penguins' home crowd. We may be a long shot to make the postseason but man, wouldn't it be nice to get this win regardless?...

Guy Boucher fired. Wonder who's next? You know it's bad when the flyers are losing to teams who are firing their coaches

I hope they play well down the stretch but just miss the playoffs because the other teams above them are playing well also. Light a fire under them because they just missed. Let them stew on it this summer, bring in some upgrades and tear up the league next year. May be just wishful thinking but that would be my ideal scenario. I don't want them to tank for a draft pick (Edmonton, Pitt).

They're hockey IQ on the ice as a whole on the ice has been well below average all season. Unfortunately, I don't believe they somehow play smarter these last 18 games. The best I hope for is trading off some of the veteran forwards before the trade deadline and give all of those minutes to the sophomore forwards.

18 games left, they need 26 more points to hit 53 points (probable minimum to make playoffs). Can they go 13-5-0? They would have to get very hot..

Tonight's game decides the course of the rest of the season. I doubt they beat the Rangers Tuesday because they never beat the Rangers, so a lost tonight should put the nail in the coffin so to speak.

I think most fans know that they won't make the playoffs. I just hope management realizes that too.

We should have this mindset but knowing if they don't we will have a shot to take a really decent prospect.
