Playing well..Buyer at the deadline would be the best option...

We looked 10x better at the end of last season and WTF did that get us? poope! No playoffs and a sh!tty draft spot. Bring the kids up from AHL. Get them some NHL experience and fall to the bottom so we can get someone in here with some bloody talent FFS. This 3 game win streak is smoke and mirrors. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!

Wow every sabres fan on here needs to be check for some sort of chemical imbalance. Complain when we lose, complain when we win wtf. Obviously you people that root for the sabres to lose when a playoff spot is still in reach are not real fans. I guess last year when the LA kings weren't so hot should have just threw in the towel huh?

So you want more of the same as the last few years? Make a last ditch attempt at the end of the season while screwing the pooch for the majority of it? I'm sick of the same sh!t. I'm hoping to build for the future of the team instead of a slim to none chance at this season. The King's were an anomaly, we talk about them because they should never have made it. Most teams in their position won't.

I still cheer every time we score. I still curse out my TV at every goal against us. My heart is still in the playoff hunt, my head says we need major changes and a #1 draft pick wouldn't hurt in the slightest.

How did the penguins and Hawks do with their top picks.....see I can play this game too. This team is flawed, needs changes and yes I would much rather lose and get one of these top 3 kids that have the look of franchise type players than make the playoffs and get bounced or worse miss the playoffs and screw our chances of getting one of these highly talented kids. Don't kid yourself either....yes the Kings were underachieving but this Sabres team is nowhere near as good as that Kings team.

I would have to say Kevin is contradicting himself. You mention Darcy needs to do whatever he can to save his job and at the same time think about building the future of the Sabres. I dont believe this is possible to do together. To save his job they must win now and buy the best players you can soon. To build he sells our best players and looses his job. I was disappointed when they got a camera shot of Dudley during the game last night Terry wasnt in the same shot.

Depends on what happens from now until the deadline, and what the market's like. If the Sabres are in a playoff spot come April 3, and other teams aren't blowing Regier away with offers for current players, why not at least hold the line and see what happens? They can still move players once the season ends.

If they're still 10th or drop further back at the deadline, or if teams are falling over themselves to get one of the Sabres' players, then yeah, sell. Don't think it should be a cut and dry decision at this point. It's been a rough season, but they're playing better now...at the right time. Let's see if it sticks for another week.
