Ales Hemsky, on the other hand, is playing his way off the Oilers roster. I couldn't figure out what he was doing all game. - Maxbone
Gonna be hard to trade him straight up for Shea Weber now. Maybe you'll have to settle for Malkin instead straight up for him. |

hopefully oilers trade gagner to the hawks, some reason it would be sick to see him between sharp and kane, could see bickell going for him, if only stanbo made it happen, btw it is good to read your blogs almost as much as jj's |

Thanks man. Anyone playing with Sharp and Kane would be sick. Those two are offensive machines. |

I agree with pretty much everything u said but thought Hensky had a good game just didn't convert on his chances. |

I am tired of watching Hemsky skate down the right side, circle the net, come around the left side, cut to the middle, and loose the puck routine.
Clouts props to you for updating your blogs so often. Makes for good reading. |

I'm sick of seeing Hall 'one man it' into the offensive zone and lose the puck every time. Deking out defensemen is not his strong point. |

Cloutier, I really think you throw the term "untouchable" around too much. If half the players are untouchable on a team that's three points out of last in the west, your GM isn't doing enough to get better.
Glad to hear that Mike Brown is fitting in. |

No way you can let Sam Gagner go after what hes shown this year... and still only 23.

He should take the toe drag out of his arsenal. He loses the puck every time. |

He's much more effective on a give and go play. The problem is that he's so fast he's usually ahead of the play and doesn't have anyone to pass to. |

No dice. He's a UFA. We're not good enough to do anything in the playoffs this year. No need to pick up rentals. With an extension however, done deal. |

Clarkson is a good guy so i'm sure he would re-sign/sign with you and Edmonton has the cap space so I'll call Lou and tell him the deal is done |

Well said, really tough lose. Looking ahead to April, it's going to be very interesting. Of the 14 games we play, 8 are against divisional opponents.
3-Calgary
2- Vancouver
2- Minnesota
1- Colorado
Right now I almost feel our chances of making the playoffs are higher by coming in first in our division than to edge into 8th place. |
