For stretches of time last night, I thought Iginla looked like a world beater. I don't think I've ever seen him stick handle through people like that.

Unfortunately, he seemed to be pretty much alone in that intensity.

Stajan looked ok, Cammy seemed to be playing with a bit of a chip on his shoulder... but pretty much everyone else looked disinterested.

Son of a female dog.......there better be some serious movement in 2 weeks........

Alex Tanguay is one of the softest and often times most invisible players on the ice. King of the stick wave attempted poke check.
For all he brings offensively he lacks elsewhere.
Scoring or setting up a goal means nothing if you cause one or two a game due to the soft defense.
This team is easily out muscled and look very small and sorry for continued use of the word, but soft.

Just my humble opinion.

sorry it wouldn't be right if I didn't get in a little dig. Depends on what happens the rest of the way with coaching, trades, injuries etc. They're definitely a talented enough team to make the playoffs, but IMO they're being really poorly coached right now.

I agree. This team as a whole, though, has no hunger; they have lost their heart to win. They do seem like the Leafs of the Muskoka 5 period. Changes have to be made and it goes beyonf personel. They need a attitude adjustment. Joey Mac comes up with some big saves, no response; Iggy fights, is working hard on puck pusuit, still no team response. Like JT said, after Iggy, Stajan had the most fight; that isn't a good thing.

I'm starting to move from the retool, trade a few vets to trade them all and change the disposition in that room entirely.

I think he'll go. The way he played last night, I couldn't help but think it was a last ditch effort to make things happen. He has to be as annoyed with the lack of push back after his fight as with the loss itself.

A 1st and a solid prospect, IMO gets it done. Hopefully with Perry signing etc. he'll get us more.

I agree, tank and trade Iginla. I never thought I would ever be able to say those words, but desperate time call for desperate measures.

Saw him play last Friday, kid is for real. Drouin is electric but tries the same move too much.
