If he plays until he's 38, at around 77 games a year (being quite modest) he's on pace for over 650 goals |

Was an awesome game, I enjoyed being there except for the REALLY drunk Cryer fan in front of my wife, kids and I. This guy was toasted and becoming increasingly loud and vulger. Waving his finger in my wife's face just about set me off, but she moved and calmed me down so I wouldn't kick his ass in front of my three small kids. He continued to wave his hat around and and the the end of the game, to avoid a fight, my wife asked me too (and I agreed) to wait awhile before we left because of him and his drunk buddies. Turns out that, the usher told us that he had been arrested for starting a fight in the hallway. A great game, but what a douchebag.
Gudas made a good, clean, open ice hit and gets a penalty while Malone gets slammed in the back of the neck and nothing? Yeah that's justice for you. |

He didn't even make full contact really. Just shoddy officiating. No other way to describe it. |

I really thought Tyrell had a great game tonight. He was really flying around out there tonight. Lindback seems to be back on track, but I think we should have him on a pitch count. We all have seen how his play goes when he is overworked. |

They were absolutely flying the first period, was a joy to watch.
As mentioned, Tyrell looked really good, as did all the Syracuse boys. Says something about them being out in the last 2 minutes doing one hell of a job freezing the puck in the Philly zone. Boucher clear trust the guys, and at this point, he has no reason not to.
To be quite frank, the 2nd power play unit with the young guys looked better than the "top" unit...
Lindback was solid again. Good for Stammer to score his 200th. Really solid game.

I hope the league looks at Rinaldo a little closer. He's a great checker and does his job but is off a little in the head and tries to take people out all the time. He loves to throw the puck in build up speed and charges into players all the time like a little bull. Now I appreciate a good body check but he's a little over the top. He could have nailed Bugsy full body but took a shot at the head. It should have been an elbow call for sure, then the cryers go after Gudas on a good hip check. What a joke of a team. Without Talbot they look lost he played one hell of a game. |

The Bugsy hit was not a clean hit at all, and no penalty. Gudas hit a Cryers player in open ice and gets a tripping penalty. WTF? |

Oh my gosh, the Cryers blogger is such a freaking homer ! It's all there team fault they lost. Not the fact that we are 3rd in the league at scoring . He says the Malone hit was shoulder on shoulder? Then Malone his three; one on the left, one on the right and one on the back of his head . Thank you Michael for not acting like the rest of these own team loving douche bag homers that this site has . Bill Meltzer is a joke . |

Rinaldo is a giant p.o.s. Nothing more, nothing less, just a giant p.o.s. with female dog tendencies
Otherwise great game by Lindback and the shifts at the end of the game as we kept the puck buried in the offensive zone boards were things of beauty. Nice win against the Cryers and frank you Rinaldo. |

You guys think Panik's gonna come back up now that Vinny's been confirmed out for the next month and Malone is out indefinitely?
Also, depending on the extent of Hedman's injury, Barberio or Korobov?
Or do you think that Labrie and/or Lee will just draw into the lineup more? |

hahahaahahahahah this might be the funniest thing i've ever read on this site, and thats hard to do with the stuff sabres, pens fans and jaeckel spew. meltzer is far from a flyers homer, far, far from it. you might want to re-read this blog to get a homer's take on a game. |

Yes, because calling Talbot the player of the game certainly oozes Lightning homer-ism. I've been an incredibly harsh critic of the Lightning this season, given the inconsistent effort levels and weak performances of many key players. You can defend your blogger without coming out with baseless attacks on me. I try to remain pretty objective when it comes to analyzing the Lightning. The reality is that the Flyers had a stinker last night; there's no two ways about it. The Lightning was the better team and the right result followed. |
