That was the first game in awhile that I can say I enjoyed. They played the game tight on the canes all night. The more I see of Gudas the more I am impressed, he is confident in tight and doesn't panic. He also won't take crap from anyone, he had J Staal frustrated which doesn't happen much. The defense looks tighter too. The GAA the last few games is dropping. If they can continue this game plan they could run a string of Wins together. The toughest game the next 6 is the Jets as the rest are playing sub par hockey lately. Let's see what happens up to the trade deadline.

What a great game...the lightning finally showed how far the depth of their talent truly is...how about gudas and Johnson? How effing great are these two? The highlight for me was Purcell goal..what a wicked deke. And finish! Conacher is back in the points column...the lines were great...and garon is spectacular...keep it up and this team is hardly beatable...I loved it

You see that article from Damian Cristodero today? TSN and Puck Daddy(punk daddy) are making it into a rumor. I think the Times was desperate for some on line hits so they spew that crap. I think Tom Jones got Damian's log-in and wrote that crud.

Do you know what the definition of pathetic and sad is? We are second in the conference and third overall in goals scored . Trailing only Pittsburgh (108) and Chicago (95). Yet while those two teams are second and first in the league, we're 26th .

I don't know about trading st.lous. To me it would be devistating, he has been my favorite player in the NHL for the past 10 years and he is on my favorite team. I really have a very hard time seeing it happen, but who knows. I guess it depends if Tampa Bay decides they are a play-off ready team right now who has a shot at the cup, or if they decide its time to rebuild ... If Tampa Bay plays every night (or even 80% of nights) like they played last night we would easily have 3rd place in the East locked up , no competition

The inconsistancey is frustrating!

St. Louis is not going anywhere unless we are talking an absolutely ridiculous offer from another team, most likely from the west.
I think it's absolute horsecrap btw, but for discussion's sake, here's what I'd be willing to listen to as an offer for Marty.

1st Overall 2013
Top 6 forward/Top 4 D

If a team was willing to give me that, then pending Marty's approval, I'd definitely think about it.
But realistically, since nobody is going to offer that, #26 is retiring as a Bolt.
As for the speculation that he wants out, I don't buy it at all. His family is settled here, he's won a cup, why would he want to move it all and tarnish his legacy in Tampa? He wouldn't.

I hope not, and like I said why would they want to trade a player of his calliber when the team is among the best in the league when they are clicking. As shown as last night...too bad they dont always play that way..it was so thri

Sorry about the caps on the previous post.
Looking at the schedules the Jets could easily go 4-6 including last night the Canes 5-5 so we need to go 8-2 which looking at our schedule is a possibility if they play like they did Saturday then the SE will tighten up. That's a lot to ask for but it's now or never.
