It's an absolute crime. The organization should be ashamed at how they mis managed this situation. He didn't belong in the NHL yet in the first place. Now after their season is over, and make no mistake about it, it's over, they are sending him down to Juniors.

Stefan was skating 15 minutes a game and he was on the 1st power play unit. In all fairness Grigs was skating 10 minutes or less a game with Big John Scott and Jochen Hecht.

Darcy is a moron. Fire him and cut jochen i still stink hecht. How hard is it to go with the young talented prospect in a tanked season over the 35 year old bum. I just do not understand management. They already burned a year of his rookie deal why not give him the experience he deserves over the guy who does not hit anyone, skates slower then crap, is injury prone, does not score and who is 35 years old who will not be playing with us next season.

john scott is a menace, he should of done a better job of clearing the way for grigs

Best decision they could have made at this point. It stinks to burn a year on the ELC, but no need to repeat the Isles' mistakes with Niederreiter...leaving him to languish on a fourth line all year when he should be on a first line in juniors. At least Grigorenko will get his confidence back, and, well, now he has an idea of how much more it'll take to succeed in the NHL.
