I think Calgary would love to get their hands on Stewart, even though it doesn't solve their age long question at Centre.

Colin, what do think Feaster's asking price will be for Iginla? I'm just curious as to what you think?

Honestly a tough question because it will by and large depend on a convo held between Iginla and (future team). If there is talk of extension, then he can demand quite a bit because Iginla can offer a strong contending team at least two years of assistance.

First round pick, younger centerman, prospect....if he agrees to extend....IMO.

The bottom line is Calgary hasn’t played a full three periods of hockey in a long time and last night was no exception.

Why not have the transformer destroyed after two periods leaving one period for another day?

that doesn't help if it's the first or second period they decide not to show up for

I only had to read the first paragraph (don't worry, I'll go back and read the rest). Bottom line, after the shellacking they had on Sat. a good team would be pi$$ed and come out HOT!!! CGY did not. They came out looking primed for another beat down.

Was reading on Flames Nation that there were scouts from Canucks, Rangers, Blues, Ducks, Sabres, Preds, Avs, Pens, Lightning & 2 scouts from the Bruins at last nights game. Also stated there have been no contract discussions with Iggy yet. How could that be 3 weeks prior to trade deadline & after Feaster & Iggy said at the start of the year Iggy's agent & Feaster were going to commence contract talks. If some of the owners need (frank)ing convincing of the status of the team, I suggest Feaster cut out the NHL team standings out of the Calgary Herald & let them look at that while playing the HNIC post game panel after the game from Saturday night. These Owners are multi multi millionaires, they cant be that (frank)ing stupid. Cmon Feaster, how about just some honesty here, it doesnt have to be intellectual honesty, just some (frank)ing honesty.

i'm legitimately curious to know why, in the opinion of flames fans, there is such hesitation to blow things up.

is feaster scared to get jobbed on a trade?

does he honestly look at his lineup and thing, with a couple tweaks, it's a stanley cup contender?

is ownership hesitant to move their big names?

this team has been ripe for a teardown for atleast 3 years now, and for some reason they keep hesitating.

i'm not trolling, i'm honestly curious to know why?

Just a mess. Literally a rudderless ship. Who is in charge? It is isn't Jay Feaster, likely Ken King taking direction from Edwards.

This team is becoming the Al Davis' Oakland Raiders of the NHL. The HNIC panel said that beside Murray Edwards and Ken King in the dressing room after Friday's loss, there were 2 other owners in the room as well. They just got beat 4-0, pick another time for the dog and pony show.

I truly believe this team needs a hockey back ground President who will be able to stand up to the interference of ownership, not a puppet like Ken King.

"but some convincing of owners may be required before anything big happens."

Do the owners not watch the games..... THEY SUCK!!! They are the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked! But I still cheer for them.

It's time, guys. I've been saying for the entire season, my first mandate as a fan is to give Iggy a legit shot at a cup. So please, Iggy, let them move you to a contender. Do it Feaster. 2nd, get some quality assets for the future; 1st rnd picks and high prospects.

I'm ok with Stewart and Cole but we BETTER get a 1st in that deal as well. Stewart is a bit of a question mark as is Cole. I would think Jbo on his own is worth that return.

Changes wont happen till you guys get rid of Ken King, he is the poison of this franchise. Too busy getting wine and dined on fake arena deals and chasing stampede tail

This is like going full retard so to speak, once you go full there is no turning back so you better make sure it counts.

Sure you can trade every tom Richard and harry by supper tonight, but it has to be more caluculated then that.
