Tyler Bunz will prove to be the starter of the future as the Oilers go on to win the Stanley Cup this year!

The Oilers would actually need to give up something for Bishop. That's the problem.

Is it just me or do alot of players not like Hall? He seems to be in the middle of everything, or you hear that other teams players have been going after him.

Dude,

Have you seen Bobrovsky recently? He's en fuego. We might have a long term solution there. I think Hemsky won't get it done simply because of his age (30?) and the timeline the Jackets expect to be competitive. Not totally opposed to trading Dubi, but feels like he deserves a full season with CBJ.

Ps. Anisimov is going to be a beast

This is the best blog you've written in a long time. Totally agree with Horcoff. Get rid of him but find a replacement first.

Management's man crush on Hemsky. So true and so pathetic. If CB does a straight up deal, lucky us. Maybe he can teach the younger guys how to win face-offs (see Oates teaches Stoll) because Horcoff might be a bit of a doer but he hasn't taught jack.

hemsky for dubinsky aint bad. pretty fair value goin both ways too. cbjs winning streak has been while dubs has been out which makes him even more expendable probably.

thing is, ud be filling a hole that isnt really there. (3rd line center) or a huge concern anyway.
of course horcs would most likely be bought out of this deal went down, and dubinsky is undoubtedly better than horcoff, but it feels like moving hemmer might be more prudent if one of our 2 biggest needs were met with the pieces coming back.. not just upgrading a position that really isnt a huge issue to begin with

How amazing is crosby? Im so sad none of our first overalls have yielded someone so good. He makes Kris Kunitz look good, could you imagine what he'd do for Iginla? Thats terrifying to think about.

I think he is the pulse of the team, he dictates the tempo when he is on the ice and the opposition tries to throw him off his game. It would not only disrupt his game but the team as well. Also he doesn't put up with any poop any more.

yaks needs roughly 12 mins a game, but I agree 4th line is a waste. he needs to play with a few confident talented players. something to build off of.

if he signed with pitts for next year it wouldnt be silly to bet he hits 50 goals again.

Gagner to the wing. Keep Horcoff. Keep yakupov on the third line with 2nd line PP.

I think dubinsky would bring heart. but I agree a top2 d would be great or a package for a #1 c. move nuge down and take some of the pressure off him. a few peeps here also seem to think perry is what the oil need. don't think thats the fix they need either.

Crosby is back to being Crosby again, which is scary for the NHL until some dope like Steve Ott runs him and takes his head off.

I would be all over that if I were Tambo. I'd be willing to give up Hemsky or Anaheim's 2nd + Ryan Whitney.

I'd play Whitney 10 more games and hope he keeps playing this way. He's turning from a 3rd rounder to a 2nd rounder...At this pace he might be a late 1st rounder by next May.

Problem is, if he plays well for another 10 games Tambi will probably extend him for 5 or 6 years.
