FIST! Ummmmm they kinda have the same colors as the Oil, so it would be an easy transition and not very noticeable if I just switched teams right now to the Islanders would it???

Oh wait, should have read the whole blog first and seen the last half was griping about the refs. Sounds like a clout's blog making excuses.

Seriously, the teams that "play 60 penalty free minutes" always appear to be the ones that will generate the NHL the most revenue. Now i know what Bettman does when he`s not negotiating.

ok Dee, who cares about the officiating this season. It's terrible, we all know this but if you play a full complete 60 minutes, your going to win some games. If the coaches yelled at their players like they did the refs, maybe the message would get into their heads to stop playing like someone who is attracted to the opposite sexs and play like men.

Hopefully Poulin gets the nod today, need Nabby fresh for playoffs.

Ullstrom back in and Grabner playing minutes that reflect his skill and contributions? Or is Cappy still doing everything in his power to make the team have to win despite his decisions?

Last sentence says it all. Guy has got to be one of the worst coaches ever to be in the NHL? How Snow allows him to coach this young, developing team is beyond me? Enough already, the guy has to go. Does Snow sit there and say, "well that sounds like a great, sound, coaching decision"? I don't get it?

That's no joke either. Isles would be dangerous in the playoffs for sure.

Isles have to go anywhere from 5 to 7 games over .500 the last 24 just to have a chance to squeek in. Don't love those odds with that defense.

I'd write it all off if the teams around the Isles were firing on all cylinders. But honestly...from fifth place on down, none of those teams are unbeatable forces of nature and all of them have their share of issues to contend with. Isles need some commitment from on high though to have a decent chance. A new coach and at least one their Big Three holes filled (second-line center, first line RW, top-four D). Don't see that happening, and it'd have to happen sooner than later.

Why? Because I think he's our second-best forward. Like I said yesterday...he has twice as many goals as the entire second line combined. And he does it with no power play time and with Marty Reasoner as his "playmaking center." No reason wingers like Bailey and KO should get more ice time.

I agree UIF. Isles are going to need help from Wang and Snow to make the playoffs. Playoffs are very possible with some moves. Let's see the lineup after Jack again talked about passengers. He cannot run his mouth and then put out the same guys doing nothing.

I agree, my issue is that Cappy does not make in-game changes if certain players are not playing well or vice versa. forget lines, in the 3rd period of games, if its a close game, thats when changes are needed to win out a game.
it bothers me that other teams will double shift certain guys, but we stick to our lines regardless. some nights, certain lines just dont have it....

This is not a Cup team but I'd love to see what this team can do with a real coach. I can just see guys like Bailey and KO going to another team and doing well. It's a real shame because a good coach will not break the bank and there is a real good one available. These are the reasons Snow and Wang get very little support. It's not like we are asking Wang to spend millions more on a player.

The guy hasn't even played a full year of pro hockey and you want him to center the 2nd line?
