in terms of trades LeBrun thinks the wings wont do anything on offense, and look more on defense to bring in a top 4.

I would agree but from an Avs perspective! That Cbs game was beyond frustrating to watch--clearly playing down to Cbs's level.

That wont be a problem against a much superior Wings team, but the Avs seem to play better against the good teams. ROR needs to show me something, his 2-way game is going to be especially needed tonight (Datsyuk is the best 2-way player in the league imo).

In any case it should be a good one tonight!

Looks like its one prospect per day, and going in order by divisions. Today was Toronto and they talked about McKegg, yesterday was Ottawa and they did Stone. Pretty cool and Im interested to see which Detroit prospect they will do.
Was also wondering how Nyqvist is developing...heard great things about him.

he leads the AHL in points, hasnt shown as much as Tatar as on NHL level.

Jankrok- plays C has the best shot at making the wings out of camp but odds of that are slim

I'm really eager to see Marchenko....knee injuries have kept him out of the past two World Juniors, but he could surprise.

i mean i guess guys like Pare and Hogan are off the griffins but, it also forces the wings to have guys like tatar, nyquist ,andersson on the team next season..

I'm beginning to wonder if Babcock has lost his edge. Why in the heck is Abdelkader and Cleary STILL playing with Datsyuk ?? I know he's trying to spark some offense from Abbdelkader... but it is NOT working. He's a 4th liner !! And that is where he belongs (he still hasn't scored a goal yet this season).

Heck I'd be happy if they just got rid of Cleary and Samuellsson. This team doesn't need them at this point anyhow with the talented young players up from Grand Rapids. Cannot for the life of me figure out why Holland has not called up Nyqiust. That is a waste of talent. Put Nyquist on Datsyuk's line and see what happens.

Nyquist, Tatar, and Andersson are one heck of a line when they play together. They have natural chemistry and energy. Would like to see them play together again in Detroit. The one time they did play together in Detroit they got a power play goal.

Oh trust me... Holland will definitely make an offer to Cleary to try and keep him. Count on that. We can only pray he signs with somebody else.

I know Samuellsson was just signed... our only hope is that the young guns from GR play so good that they take all his ice time (one of the good things to come out of him not being able to play).

There currently is no timetable or foreseeable date as to when Bert is coming back. His injury must be pretty severe.. he's not even practicing.

That was a beauty of a setup from Brunner to Franzen... awesome goal. Let's hope the Mule can get on one of his hot streaks and play consistently now. He's due.

i have no idea why samuelsson was signed in the first place..to replace hudler? thats what we have guys like tatar,andersson and nyquist for

Solid game by Howard tonight. Wings need to hire someone to hypnotize Franzen and make him think he is playing the Avs every game. That line was good tonight. Can't wait for Datsyuk to be out of Babcock's doghouse and off the 4th line...put anyone else with him, hell even Tootoo, i don't care just change it up for gods sake.

I would rather have almost anybody else on the entire team on Datsyuk's line instead of Justin Abdelkader. Tatar is the obvious choice, but seriously, anybody. Ian White probably would make a better scoring line winger.
