Give him a night off? For a cold? JT's not even asking for a night off. The team is 3 points out of a playoff spot, playing a good team. They need all hands on deck, especially JT's. Want to rest JT? Do it against a lesser opponent than MTL please...

I rarely come on here to troll and this is hardly trolling as much as it is a comment about John Tavares and what a star thiskid is going to be (and already is)....sit him out? This isn't major leage baseball especially being a 48 games schedule...he is the only reason you are only 3 pts out and the only reason any Islander fan would pay to go to a game, hell, I'm a Ranger fan and I'd pay to see this kid play in a game and your blogger wants to sit him??

Blogger is not an accurate representation of Isles fans. There are a few others that are worth the price of admission on our team.... Grabner, Moulson, Martin... etc. We are a very top heavy team where our first line does the majority of the scoring. Many teams in the league are like that.. .no?

He is playing.. I was at game on Sunday. JT did 1/2 shifts the whole game. He looked like a shell of himself and was still incredible. He will play.. don't listen to Dee.

I don't disagree regarding those other players, but she was referencing JT specifically...and I know she isn't a fair representation, ever since that shot she took at Nash I actually read it in case she says anything else that is uncalled for...I honestly hope that the Isles do rebuild, as much as I dislike them I don't hate them b/c the rivalry hasn't been what it could be, I think its time we start hating again, we need a playoff series...

We usually play you guys pretty well... but until we have a top notch goalie and a decent Veteran Shut down D-man. We are going to be closer to bottom than top of standings. That said with a ton of cap room, a new building, DP gone and a ton of talent in the minors and juniors I think we have a bright future ahead of us finally.

I am sitting in one of those arena suites, I think it's 17G or something like that. You will see me. I will be the geek with the red Erik Cole jersey and the Habs hat, and my son will be the mini-geek with the Subban jersey and the Habs hat. I ordered Galchenyuk jerseys, but they haven't arrived yet.

He sits we lose it is as simple as that. He is the leader and I dont think JT even wants to sit so he will be in tonight. Him at half percent is better then most of the guys on this team when tehy are going 100%. Now if you want to sit some players I am sure we can come up with some players.

that is because everyone else is just that bad. there are a lot of key injuries to alot of teams. If everyone was healthy we would be like at least 8 points out.
