PLEASE can we lose all our remaining games?

Another late push , only to end up in the 9 or 10 spot (or even worse, qualify for the dance---as if) will kill me. Get the #1 draft pick, trade Miller while we can, and pull Mike Keenan off the golf course for next year.

Stafford or Hecht need to be a healthy scratch this afternoon!

To gain creditbility from the Head Coach

Foligno has been playing better than both of these guys (edited to be nice)

I agree. You could argue that Vanek, Miller, and Pominville's value will never be as high as it is right now...let's go from the most underachieving team, to the youngest team. I think it can be fun to speculate on what we can get in return for some of our players...would Detroit be willing to bring Miller home for some sort of package of their young players? How about Vanek for a Dougie Hamilton type player?

I've always been the type of backseat general manager that would say that unless you have a legitimate shot at winning the cup (we don't), then you need to stockpile high draft picks and young players....

Vanek and Miller are worth more this year than next because they still have a year remaining on their contracts, and if we wait until next year, we'll get teams not willing to pay full value for a rental player...

just food for thought.

Who would you definitely keep? I say Grigs, Hodgson, Foligno, Ott. Everyone else can be had....

The four you mentioned, plus Ehrhoff & Kaleta (not that his trade value is through the roof). And as much as I hate Myers right now, common sense should dictate that he be given a chance. He is still a baby, even though he's in year four already.

And let's not rule out Rolston just yet. He may be just what the doctor ordered for many of our young kids. I like what I've heard from him so far.

And I'm sure there's a reason he hasn't had an NHL head coaching job in 4 years. We need to stick with, or find, someone that's still relevant.

No sure if anyone saw this in the paper, but the shamrock run is going on today as well an the parking situation could be a nightmare at the arena today. Plan accordingly
