Dan Spiegel: Jonathan Huberdeau Named Rookie Of The Month, But Not Team MVP

Who called that let down last night?? This guy!!!! And every other Panther fan that knows this team. Of course we couldn't pull off 2 points against a last place team. Just like they can't get a point against Washington. This is why they need to tank, there's no hope for playoffs even of they still are close. This is a team that can't win against lesser teams at home. There's only a handful of teams I consider lesser than the Panthers and they still can't beat them. Maybe I should re look things.

Yeah, saw that. What a mess.

I'm pretty sure you think they will lose every game, so I'm not surprised by this predictable negativity. And by the way, a let down is a loss. The Panthers played well and dominated the game. Miller was awesome. Tip your hat and move on, if you have the ability.

They did lose. Try not to justify getting a point against a 15 point team was a win or a great effort because it wasn't. They may have outplayed then but it resulted in a loss.

I have a suggestion for you. Go to Part 3, Section 1 of How To Win Friends And Influence People, entitled "You Can't Win An Argument." Read it, oh I'd say, 100 times, and then get back to us. Lol.

What an exciting player Huberdeau is, he makes some pretty plays out there! I never thought he was going to be able to make this kind of impact so quick and early in his career, fun player to watch

Kopecky has been great so far. He doesn't get the recognition he deserves, one of the hardest working guys on this team the only other that I think has shown the same is Shore IMO. But glad to see Huberdeau getting it done, you can just tell he is going to be a star!

Huberdeau is really good, Shore has been impressive as well, if they can get someone like Barkov in the draft, it would help a lot.

If any other goaltender is in net we win that game easily. That being said, we are not a team built to come from behind. Our goaltending has got to improve. They cannot let these soft goals in six minutes into every game. It deflates the entire team. In my opinion, Markstrom has to come up and Theo has to go. Waive him, trade him, buy him out, I really don't care what they have to do.

With Weaver out for a while, Robak needs to come up and get a serious look. He played some amazing hockey. He jumped up every chance he got, and pretty much told our anemic wingers to get back so he could handle it. He has serious speed and tenacity.

Kovalev is most likely getting bought out shortly, or so I've heard. But if I'm Dineen, this is how I'm lining it up right now given what we have and assuming Versteeg and Upshall are both healthy.

That's as balanced we are going to get it. Also, incase no one heard Sean Bergenheim won his injury grievance and must be paid in full. He is having surgery on his groin and abdomen and should be ready for training camp next year.

Both never make the playoffs and draft horribly. Numbers don't lie, but everyone here backs their failing efforts anyway. Congrats on being stupid ppl.

What if your wrong?? What if Bjugstad is a bum and whey haven't they called Mr. Howden up?? We all said this about Horton bouw and Weiss. It failed. What if Huberdeau is the only one worth keeping and we lose hi to FA because the "organization" can't pay him what he deserves??? What then?? I don't have to make PAnther fans look stupid. Bjugstad is the real deal, have you even watched him play? Howden is a stud too, but I agree with the move to keep him down, he needs to learn how to play defensive hockey and get a more physical game before he moves up with the big boys. On top of those players we have rocco grimaldi, vince trocheck, kyle rau, alex petrovic, Mike matheson, and if you add markstrom in net that's a solid team for years to come. Plus the way this seasons going you can add a top 5 pick in this years draft class which is stocked with talent and we'll be set.

Please don't compare any of these players to the ones you mentioned. Tallon knows what he's doing in the draft look at his track record, he's not like the previous GM's.
