Goon hockey, and classless fans booing injured players when they get up.

Two boarding calls, a headshot, and Benn coming onto the ice to cheap shot near the end. (Which he came on early and technically was to many men on the ice).

Trying to start fights with RNH and Eberle, but backing down from Eager and Fistric. fighting a much smaller Gagner.

From hearing the comments of the coach afterwards, it is clear who is responsible.

I suppose Dallas fans are not embarassed, and can come up with excuses to justify every play and the actions of their fans when players got injured.

That's not tough hockey. That's gutless goon, chicken hockey hitting from behind and only trying to fight the smallest guys.

They are so much smaller, yet you can only hit from behind and run from anyone close to the same size.

Don't hate Dallas, just lost all respect. Worse behavior than Vancouver.

deserves a fine, was a frustrated player who did something stupid. I do agree that Dillon was a complete goon all night, big dude throwing stupid hits, he should learn from Mark "the fister" Fistric how to hit properly.

Yes sir. I actually worked for Denny's years ago and met Tom and his dad back then. Guy is all business. I know he was told by the league before purchasing the stars he has to make it work there and won't be just relocating the team. But seeing the attendance at last nights game. Guy has to be able to make money doesn't he???

Attendance was just above 17k. Benn has fought iginla, Thornton, Johnson and Doan. I highly doubt he was afraid to fight anyone on the oilers. A team filled with tiny kids.

I guess no one likes to sit down in the lower bowl since the arena looked only looked half to two thirds full down there all night. Last season the stars averaged 76.8% of capacity with an average of 14226, fans in an arena with a capacity of 18,532-19,099. Just the facts sir. Just the facts.

If it hasn't been clear it should be unmistakable by now.

Canadian team plays important US market in bad financial shape.

Controversial calls ensue taking away goals from Canadian team or giving opportunities to US team to tie it up.

US team goons guys, no suspensions. Canadian team player in lesser or simirar incident hits US team player from certain markets and get's suspended.

Just look at the team and see if it is in the US, is it in bad shape financially, can it afford to lose the points, or lose the player for a game or two?

There you have it, the formula for Shannahan's madness.

We sell out every game even when in last place 3 yrs in a row. They don't give us the calls or justice because we are coming to the games no matter what.

What the NHL focuses on and cares about is not the letter of the rules, but the strength of the league.
