I hope Anisimov will get better soon, one of the few bright spots this season and I'm also hoping the cbj can salvage what's left of this horrid road trip with a win versus a divisional rival. - Alexzanki

Getting a second consecutive road win against a division rival with a winning record would be a great way to salvage what has been a poor road trip. I'm glad to see Bob back in goal. He's been good the last two games and would love to see him grab the reins. |

Glen it's best to hope to see growth from some players but pile on the losses. This is the draft that changes COlumbus.
I had them picked to make it to the play offs over Detroit this year. It'll be next year. The Nash trade was the second best thing to happen to COlumbus after the Carter trade. Oh and the Nikithin for Russell trade.
You have defensive depth some over payments but some good young talent and you are about to get more.
I still keep hoping LA and the Rangers choke hard to get you guys higher picks. Hell even one of those teams won the President's trophy their pick could win the lottery.
Actually I shouldn't hope for these things too hard as then it will be another good team in the division. Maybe they'll move you guys out east. |

Could have picked Galchenyuk last year and had a top six 18 year old centre to go along with MacKinnon. |

Without a doubt that would be the best thing for the franchise long term but no one wants to pack it in and tank the season. There are enough players on the roster with pride that they will play hard every night. But you're right; it's going to be a process and one that will take a couple more years.
I like some parts of Nikitin's game but he has been making a lot of mistakes lately. Turning the puck over which has led to goals against. Still a decent trade for Columbus.
It would be great for Columbus if LA and the Rangers both continued to struggle but my guess is those picks will be at 20 or higher. Perhaps if the Jackets like someone enough they can package those picks for another higher in the first. |

Yes but Murray should be a great player too. It's too bad he's hurt and going to be out all year. And I wonder if they had taken Galchenyuk last year if they would actually lean toward taking Seth Jones this year. |

Or we could draft Jones and end up with a very young and interesting defense pairing (Murray-Jones ) |

I like O'Reilly but what would Colorado want? I'd be reluctant to include any of the #1's in a package. I hear that Colorado wants an offensive-minded D-man and/or a scoring F. Would a package of Brassard or Umberger with David Savard get the conversation started? Savard is skilled and can pitch in offensively but skating is a drawback. |

I have always like Atkinson however I don't think you guys want to part with him. But I think for a dman the avs would be more interested in Erixon.
Based on rumour returns they are looking for, guys like Tyutin/Jenner/Savard
Erixon/Foligno might get the balls rolling |
