Matt, MTL definitely has a pretty healthy line-up. Looks like Gallagher and Price are definitely out and then Subban questionable with the flu.

I think this has the potential to be a 5-4 game if things get loose early. Canes are a bit short on defense and really that hasn't been the strength even with the wins. (We won 2 games with Ward seeing 40+ shots in each a couple weeks back.) Missing Skinner hurts a little, but the Canes are comfortable playing "race to 5" hockey. My WAG is that someone wins 5-4 either in overtime or shootout.

Was Skinner's injury from his crash into the boards last Thursday? His "upper body injury" is not a concussion I hope.

Muller will have his team flying early in this game...that much is guaranteed!

Staal parents are at the game.....watch for Jordan and Eric to have a big game. Only the 2nd time they see their sons play together in the NHL. First time was the first game of the season....Canes lost 5-1.

If this one is close, look for Muller to cut the bench in half.

Top 6 forwards log 20+ minutes each, top 4 dmen log >25ish.

Ideal would be for the Canes to get up early; not clear there will be a ton left in the tank for a late rush.
