Just wondering how Jacket fans feel about Nash return after seeing Dubinsky, AA and Erixon? I felt Dubinsky was way overrated and overpaid. Nash is a stud.

Dubinsky may be overpaid but he does a lot of little things on the ice and brings a lot of energy to the lineup. He's wearing an "A" here and it's well-deserved.

Anisimov is a skilled center with size. He'll never be more than a two/three but is still a very solid player.

Erixon has the potential to be a top-four D who skates well and move the puck. Those guys are extremely valuable on the open market. He still has some growing up to do but he's got time.

That number one gives the Jackets a ton of draft capital to use at the entry draft or to cash in for young veteran roster players. Kekalainen will undoubtedly use his three first-round draft choices wisely.

You have to remember there were only so many teams that Nash was willing to go to and fewer yet who had the cap space and young talent to pull the trigger on the deal. The Rangers were the best fit all along and the Jackets did the best they could in that scenario. I think there's little doubt the Rangers are missing some of the depth they sacrificed to add Nash so while he is easily the best player involved in the transaction the cost to get him was no small thing.

Bingo. I didn't think it was a tough question but no one answered last time so I thought I'd put it out there again.

If (entirely hypothetical) Columbus picks first in the draft in 2013, who would you all rather have, McKinnon or Jones? Or trade down? Just curious

McKinnon. Jackets are deeper at the blue line in the organization but lack impact forward talent.

Drouin actually, not sold on Mckinnon, and we already have Murray , althought I could also entertain the perspective of having both

We need all the help we can get. I'd love somehow pulling a Brian Burke and getting the 2nd and 3rd overall picks like he did when he drafted the Sedins or even better, the 1st and 2nd overall choices.

But Drouin is actually flying up the board now. Usually I prefer the guy that has been in the spotlight longer. But I haven't seen more than highlights of either player. We're just going to have to trust Kekalainen to make the right choice with whatever draft picks he gets.
