Great game to watch for sure but a tough loss to swallow.

Fine win, who says the Stars lost too much grit?

That was a good gritty win, and at least for one game it looks like you Nystrom, Eakin, and Garbutt have more then enough grit. Really starting to like Eakin.

Anyone surprised by Lehtonen getting injured again, raise your hand.

Roussel and Dillon play with a good edge too. Benn, Roy, Eakin and Fiddler form a pretty darn good center group.

Dillon looked pretty solid to me last night, big kid with some skill that uses his size as well.

Actually, Lehtonen has worked very hard since coming to the Stars to improve his ability to stay healthy and over the last two years has started 85% and 75% of the Stars games which is on par with a lot of top goalies including players such as Lundquist, Rinne, Quick, Price. He will probably always have some problem with groin strains but hopefully will be able to maintain something close to the 80% start level.

A real find for the Stars as an undrafted player. He has worked very hard to get his game to this level and should continue to improve with experience. Had to be a thrill for him to score and play well in front of family and friends.

For sure, I just wish the Canucks found him instead. My cousin actually went to high school with him.

Your cousin knew him before he had a growth spurt - I read he was only 5'2" at 15 and 5'11" at 17 and finally 6'3"' today. He seems like a really likeable young man who is truly appreciative of the opportunity to realize his dream. He is becoming a fan favorite in Dallas.

Yeah, my cousin was actually in a grade younger than him and din't really know him that well but apparently Dillon was a nice guy and really had a big growth spurt.
