Mixed feelings regarding Oleksiak back to the AHL. I thought he was not out of place in the NHL but I understand the logic in getting him 1st pairing minutes and some PP time to continue his growth - I really believe he will be an excellent player long term. Good chance now for Larsen to step up his play.
Game tonight will be a strong test for the Stars after the comedy in Calgary. Hopefully, Lehtonen will continue his sharp play.
I think Kari will keep the game close. The first line has been good on most nights and I am positive if Morrow keeps playing like he is the team will try to trade him at the deadline. I know he has a no-trade clause but I think he would do it to the right team. Would really like to see Smith or Eakin get their first tonight I have very little faith in our Defense men right now but we shall see. All in all tonight presents the same scenario as last year. Team ending a Canadian trip in Vancouver, had dinner at the owners house last night came out with a big win the next night. Lets hope history repeats itself.
Good game, gotta give credit to the Stars for coming back and playing better as the game went on. Didn't realize these two teams had such a rivalry. Dillon was really impressive and Jagr looks great with Benn.
