This game makes me nervous. I believe the Islanders gave the Canes a lot of trouble last year and Tavares usually picks on the Canes to pad his stats.

Staal-Semin-Tlusty line was awesome, Matt Moulson can kiss my ass and dear lord, our PK looked ROUGH. Very happy to walk out with two points though!

Also got a kick out of the sarcastic cheers that DiPietro got for a simple stop after the Canes buried 3 goals in the 3rd!

They certainly are exploring the whole spectrum in regards to accumulating points. 2 points on the road is 2 points on the road, though.

Matt was right in his prediction of a high scoring game and Tavares did his usual padding of his stats, but I'm grateful for the two points in spite of the 4 power play goals yielded. I'm happy for Tlusty finally getting rewarded for his effort.
