If Dupuis doesn't win this one there's something wrong.

They are still living in fantasy island thinking Seto is a 30-goal scorer and haven't watched a single game of his in the last four years.

I didn't...but would consider a Kennedy for Setoguchi trade straight up just for the sake of shaking up things.

TK getting 500k more than Duper. If I'm Dupuis, I"m going after my agent with a baseball bat.

I've always been a TK supporter. However I have not been impressed with him at all this year. I haven't really noticed him cycling the puck a lot and shooting a ton. Maybe the chemistry with Sutter is taking a while to develop. Seto for TK I'd have to look at the contracts it's kind of Apples for Apples.

I don't know if "underappreciated" is the right word, but I don't think most people realize just how important Kris Letang is to the Penguins.

I think one earns 3k the other 2k...I'd do it anyway...hoping for Seto to create chemistry with Geno or Sid...if not, with Brandon

Letang is a keeper on this team. Even if Anaheim made an offer Perry for Letang straight up, I'd turn it down.

Well, Perry is a UFA after this year, so that would be a ridiculous gamble for Pittsburgh even if the value was even. You turn that one down without question.

I think it's become apparent how important Staal was on that line. Sutter is a nice player, but Staal was just bigger and better in that role. Staal made TK and Cooke better players IMO. He garnered more attention. Was hard to knock off the puck, thus freeing up ice for TK.

He was a very good second line center playing on the third line. Definitely one of this issues. I still think the pens third line can be very effective though.

Well I meant in an equal situation, player for player. I'd have to think Letang is more important to this team than Perry would be. We need a leader on the back end. Wouldn't be against trading for a couple hard working forwards and a D (like Giordano or Georges)

I think Craig Adams is very under appreciated. The guy has speed, forechecks hard, hits, sticks up for his team, and is a major PKer. And I think Vitale is following in his footsteps

Agree. I voted for Adams, and Vitale would have been my 2nd pick. Love the kids work ethic and I think he will be a valuable 4th liner for a long time.

I voted Letang...For me when he is out the team is much more noticably worse than when Malkin or Crosby are out. A lot of ppl here say they can't resign him but to me I think you lock him up no matter what. Let Orpik and Kunitz walk if you have to. I can see Dupuis, but winning or losing wont hinge on his performance.

Why is there talk that Malkin needs another winger? I thought it was Crosby who was playing with the 3rd liner?
