Luongo had a few nice saves not only one.

Canucks were boring but so were the high flying Oilers and Hawks on Friday.

AV is in all his glory.

What was up with the line change anyway? Was that to get the Sedin's going? I didn't see the game so only heard about it on snet. If Burrows moved up, who shifted around to play C?

I thought this was going to be about Keslers diving and sitting on the ice and missing the PP's you get gifted

Did it look any better? Burrows just seemed ok as a filler but just was kind've there. Hopefully Kesler/Burrows can play awesome together like they did years ago and create an awesome 1/2 punch.

You missed or didn't want to comment on casual Kevin Bieksa, yes he scored the tying goal but how many giveaways was he responsible for.

I think it's more of the Sedins not clicking than Keslers self proclaimed "greek god butt".

Two in one sequence (which DCT attributes to Bowness), another that resulted in a goal against, and... But, he was money when they needed it.

Also, Ians comment about the Sedins owning the puck all night. I thought they looked terrible in the first, couldn't get out of their own end, RNH out Sedined them in the first. After that it was pretty even.

EDIT - also, Fuhr = sensational, not elite, there's a difference.

Agreed. Right before he scored that goal I was wondering if he has mentally challenged. Seriously, five seconds before he scored I couldn't even comprehend some of the plays he was making.

Who's in charge of handing out the assists anyways.... Schroeder should have had two

Schroeder is much better in that slot then Burrows. AV is a clown though, Kassian makes one mistake and he's off the line.

The Sedins are slowing down Kassian, they look awful out there. Even on the OT winner they were screwed if the puck was turned over and went the other way. I haven't seen them this slow since their rookie year.

They added one on the first goal, the second goal looked like he may have tipped it out to Bieksa... or maybe it hit the Oilers d man.

I hate to agree with Gary Valk, but I thought the change was more to do with the Sedins play than with Kassian. The line wasn't working early on, go back to something you know has been successful.

I could see that, as they were sluggish as hell. Kassian set Daniel up for a beauty one timer and he missed the net by 20 feet.

Yeah Daniel has been pretty tragic, I was thinking the other night that Weise might want to lend Danny that GPS I got him.

At times we saw Henrik and Daniel which IMO is a positive sign. Kassian was lost probably because he was moved around. In defence of Higgins he did not receive much ice time. Hansen Schroeder and Tanev played the hardest other that Lu.

Maybe its just me but Volpatti Manny and Weise don't seem to have much in the chemistry department.
