I see a couple improvements but also some areas that have gone backwards.

Is JBO going to continue to play the way he did against Edmonton?
Is Backlund finally breaking through to a legit top 6 guy?
Is Cervenka going to work out?
Is Stempniak on a hot streak (as he does) or will it continue?
Is Cammi ever going to show up?
Is Kipper going to get it going and steal a game or two?

Still so many questions on this team. Could go either way.

sadly I think no, hope I'm wrong.
Is Backlund finally breaking through to a legit top 6 guy?
I think so
Is Cervenka going to work out?
I think its going to be an injury long season
Is Stempniak on a hot streak (as he does) or will it continue?
I think it will be a good year for stemper
Is Cammi ever going to show up?
I have a bad feeling that he won't this year
Is Kipper going to get it going and steal a game or two?
of course.

And wil some one get iggy into a fight to wake him up please.

With Hartley's system I think JBo will be great this year and I think Cervenka will surprise a lot of people.

I think cervenka wil be play well. But just feels like this injury may be an ongoing issue....being cautiously pessimistic.

I hope your right on Jbo, I just can't muster up support for him until he does more then show up in edmonton (which he always has done)

honestly...I see it as an advantage right now for the Flames. Extra practice time together.

Iggy always seems to be a slow starter. Worst possible thing in a short season

To be fair, Iggy is playing really well. He just hasn't had te puck luck.

Should be an interesting week for the Flames. IMO we should beat COL, DET and obviously CLB. CHI & MIN will be tough ones but good measures for us. We should be about .500 by the end of next week. If not, it could be one bit of proof for the "experts" that picked us for the bottom of the league.

it was the system for a few of those players with sutter. Iginla and cammy were wasted in his system as well.

But they at least had sparks in the last few years. Jbo, not so much. He's not a waste, just a couple mil overpaid.

But Butler didn't make his life easy last year either.

had some really nice passes setting up goals.

Cammelleri might just be skating slower because his lack of teeth causes more drag.

It's going to get crazy starting tomorrow. Every other night from here on. Injuries could be the deciding factor this year.

Living in edmonton, do i hate the flames? No. Would i rather see them win the stanley cup over 2 dozen american teams. You betcha. Which as much as no one will want to hear this, the flames must start their rebuild this season. Its a solid draft and its got to be done. Trade iginla to the pens for a first and a solid defence prospect. Trade kipper to whoever wants him for anything better then a second rounder. I still shake my head at the wideman signing but jay feaster can figure that one out

Another Oiler idiot calling for the great "rebuild" like what Edmonton did was calculated and brilliant. Finishing pretty much deadlast for half a decade sound like tons of fun!

And try actually watching a game before offering your uneducated opinion. Wideman has been playing 25 minutes a night, been our top defenseman and the Flames power play has been excellent because of him.

Your another flames meat ball. When you get off the bong and realize the flames arnt good enough to make playoffs nor have they been post lock out. Whats the point of finishing 10 th in the west every year. Ive watched alot of games this year, do i think the oilers are a strong playoff team? No but they have promise. The flames are on a bad downward spiral and the sooner they reslize that the better they will be. They are the maple leafs of the western conference minus they have won a cup in the last 50 years

And atleast edmonton will win a cup if not multiple cups in the next 5 years. Trade iginla for shawn horcoff and a 7 th rounder and kipper for a bag of that smelly green stuff. The time is now to rebuild that troubled franchise
