Here we go again....I'm gonna make this real simple and make this real easy for all the trolls....Ian you're a blind homer and your blog sucks. I hate the Canucks and their fans, you're team are a bunch of divers who will never win the Cup. My Leafs are the class of the NHL and are a couple os seasons away from another Cup, my Oilers are a young, up and coming team with a bright future and are a couple years away from a Cup, my Blackhawks are going 48-0 and winning another Cup this year. Have fun being stuck with a 40 year old Luongo because all you're getting for him is a bag of pucks if you're lucky.

I'm not a tool that goes into Leaf threads. I'm a Canucks fan so I stay in here to discuss my team, not anybody else's. People go on blogs for different personal reasons, many of which are the wrong reasons like to let off some steam and bytch and complain which causes trouble. I'm not one of those. I stay on this blog and only respond to trolls that come in here and do that. I've been on many other sports blogs where that isn't allowed and only civil talk but I don't think that will ever be possible on HB.

Any idea of when #17 might be returning to game action? This team needs him desperately.

Any idea of when #17 might be returning to game action? This team needs him desperately.

Keep in mind when he does return he won't have played any games for close to a year. He is not going to be the knight in shining armour riding in to save the day. He might be in form by the playoffs, if the Canucks make it that far.

That's what I was thinking watching the game. They are usually so dominant in the offensive zone, but I barely noticed them. Would moving Burrows back to their wing once Kesler comes back help?

Ballard and Tanev have been the best pairing thus far.

They are the ones that should be the main attraction, they shouldn't need someone to jumpstart their season,it should be the other way around.

Kassian has been fine with them , he has been our best player.

I think when a 2 nd year Dman and 2 year forward are your best players ,then it is time for changes.

We have read this book before.

I see other teams around the league and they have rookies that are playing 3rd pairing d that I have never even heard of. 3rd and 4th liners that are hitting and scoring that were 5-7 round picks. We don't have this. AV won't allow rookies to play because they aren't experienced and will make mistakes then he has to bench them. Somebody should tell AV that they are never going to get better unless they are given a chance. Schroeder for example was our best player in the faceoff circle yesterday. He's always hard in on the forecheck. Doesn't hit very hard but at least he's skating.
