yeah! despite 16 power plays awarded by l'ecuyer and all those cam ward double stackers, the failer curse is broken!

horton's goal was downright nifty. he held on to it long enough to defeat the dreaded double stacker that fooled peverley half a dozen times.

the 3rd line is bad and it ain't just chris 'moltisanti' bourque. how many break aways did pevs have? kelly gets a rebound on one of them and softly puts it into ward as if he's playing d for them. not to be finished, kelly sets up the failer 3rd goal.

i was prepared for the frosted tips, but kirk muller has really gone overboard with the john forslund just for my men hair 'product'.

finally seeing jordon and eric staal together is not a good look for the latter. he's gone from looking goofy to special. different dad?

I don't want to be critical because there is a ton of great things going on with the team, but Seguin looked like his rookie self out there. Claude was funny after the game with Haggs: Claude Julien on Tyler Seguin's empty net goal: "That's why he was out there [to score an ENG]. It certainly wasn't for his board work." Bourque looks like he's going back to Providence sooner than later.

Boston is going to win the division, unless they get into injury trouble.

I actually thought Khudobin played pretty damn well out there, hard to find much fault of his in any of the Canes' goals. He made some big saves when needed to and if he can play like that consistently the B's will be plenty happy. On the other hand, Chris Bourque is a non-entity out there. Hopefully Caron can step in and rekindle some of his late season magic from a year ago.

Don't we know what Caron brings to the table already? And it's not pretty....or consistent. I would much rather see someone like Ryan Spooner get a chance on that third line. He's been solid for Providence and deserves a chance. Caron is what he is and that isn't good enough. Hoping for anything better is a waste of time.
