We can only pray the officiating will be better than that last game.

Hey Richard,I still don't understand how the RNH goal is disallowed because of goalie interference by Gagner but Gagner doesn't get a penalty? Any thoughts?

I thought the exact same thing as you. If it's a penalty, it's a penalty.

"As much as everyone rips JayBo, add him to Petry, Smid, Schultz, Schultz, and Fistric, and you have one of the deepest D6's in the league. Bouwmeester plays huge minutes and in all situations."

Lmao... You sure are good for a laugh. Jaybo+oilers "D" one of the deepest... LOL brought a tear to my eye.

FAIL (if serious)

I know you know very little about hockey so I'll take the bait. You see, he had a concussion, and is conditioning himself in the AHL playing 20+ min a game to get his feet back. Should he have joined the Leafs right away? Not my call, but he's better at this point in his career the any Oilers D. Will Shultz end up better ? Who knows, you'll try and suggest something obtuse and contine to troll as expected.

I'm thinking Gardiner is not ready for the NHL yet. Who knows, maybe the minors will help him out. It's done wonders for Nazem Kadri. He's looked brilliant this season, sort of.

I actually agree, I thought kadri was a write off, but he looks much improved.

if u mean his rookie year was stronger than any oilers defencemen rookie year was, ill probably agree.......until schultz's rookie year is complete of course..

but if u mean jake gardiner is currently better than any defencemen on the oilers, all i can do is respond this way..

You've won me over, great point. Fantastic mind control you have, or is it brain control.

Jake>Shultz till he has a comparable year in the NHL. Till the. Keep dreaming and tanking.

It's almost like they knew they made a mistake so they tried to make up for it by not giving out a penalty too. The crowd chanting at the reffs was hilarious.

The last 5 minutes made up for what I thought was a somewhat boring game up to that point.

schultz has only played 3 games in the nhl, its so early yet.
]
but the ridiculous numbers he put up in the A, as well as his play in his first 3 games in the nhl have been miles ahead of where gardiner was.
he's played so well and with so much confidence already that i honestly can hardly see him being anything other than a star in this leauge.
coach had him playing like 26-27 minutes last night in his 3rd game in the show..

Kadri was mis handled by a horrible coach. Most leafs fans will be glad to explain how crappy RonW was. A reason our GM was let go, fairly as well.

I'm thinking you didn't watch him play last year... Who had a better year as a rookie D?

The thing is, we got to see him have a great year last year, Oilers are EXPECTING a great year from Shultz.

As for the Oilers currently have a better D-Man... Continue to laugh... The rest of the league is laughing with/at you guys as well.

but i also dont understand what u meant. they're either laughing WITH us or AT us..not both/

and are u under the impression that fans everywhere (including your own) dont think the leafs are a joke? 40 years of absolute mediocrity bro. didnt espn rank u as the worst franchise in sports??!!

i hate these stupid conversations, but dude, you're a leafs fan. the definition of "glass house"

Would I trade Shultz for Jake ? As an Oiler fan no because he fits into the shiny new toy concept that you continually sell.

Would I trade Jake for Shultz, at this point it's too close to a wash. We know what we have in Jake, Shultz is still a question mark. However the concussion Jake had might push me into accepting a trade.

They're very similar players, both far better offensively then playing defence. Shultz in his own zone looks so lost and scared.
