Luckily for me I generally don't come on this site on weekends. I wish it was a morning game though, because the first warm Saturday in awhile could lead to this guy being poop faced and passed out before the game.

Probably for the best anyways....I wouldnt want to have to watch my team get dominated by their rival so early in the season either.

I think the leafs would make a good trading partner for Kipper. They are obviously in need of a starting goalie and desperate to make the playoffs sooner rather than later. Kipper's also a better option for them than Lou (talent wise, contract wise, etc.) and if the return is the same: bozak, kadri, and a pick, I'd take it in a heartbeat. It would instantly give us a #1 centre and another centre with potential to take the #1 spot next year.

Either way, give him another year and he'd be good enough to centre the #1 line for the Flames given their current roster.

It's funny most say we need to trade Kipper. But if you look around the league more so Edm and TO. Want are they both looking for to go with all their young good players? Good veteran goalies. So we trade Kipper, get a couple picks and no one to stop the puck...
