Re: Big John Scott

Not to knock the big guy, and I am certainly glad he's on our team, but having watched a few of his youtube fights, he seems to lack urgency in his approach.

That one Garth posted of Westgarth getting cut open, and even against Colton Orr the other night, he seems to be super confident and throws "slow haymakers" (if that is what you can call them).... the opposite of Rayzor back in the day with a flurry of blows.

I hope his "loss" to Orr was just a set up, to lull Lucic into a false sense of security, and sucker him in for the beating of a life time.

Keep dreaming, Lucic isn't stupid enough to fight Scott. Lucic is too valuable to get caught up with a goon like Scott.

And BTW, I am wondering why no one took after Hartnell the other day? Trying to hurt two of our guys? I hope he gets tuned up real good later this year... dirty bastard.

One can only dream... and Lucic might not have a choice in the matter... as a Bruins fan, what would you rather:

a) Lucic get destroyed by Scott?

or

b) Lucic turtle like a female dog when Scott brings the pain?

You gotta, admit, it would be humiliating for a meat head like Lucic to not answer for the crap he pulled last year and pull a Claude Lemieux.

Didn't Stafford?
- sippyd

Was that the same game? Man I forget already. I thought Stafford was sticking up for Ennis after he got run? Anyway, Hartnell did it again, later in the game. One good turn deserves another.

I don't know about that. Lucic is a professional fighter.

I think Lucic is smart enough to not get involved and skate away. Why bother fighting a guy who plays under 5 minutes a night and is no real threat from a hockey standpoint. Scott will just end up hurting his team by giving the Bruins time on the PP.
