Roughly half an hour from the morning skate, there's no confirmation yet that Eller will be on the bubble, but if he is, perhaps it has more to do with making a statement to the team than it does with him.
I thought Eller was far and away the worse player on the ice for Montreal. Combine that with the fact they have only 5 games to see if Galchenyuk is there to stay, looks Eller played himself out of the line up.
And no, I do not hate Eller, as some of you are going to say. I just think he's got a LOT to prove before being promoted to the top 6. A whole friggin' lot. |
