I like the idea of Radek sitting. Time to see some new faces like Hickey.

If Martinek is 100 percent, however unlikely that scenario ever appears, I'd rather see him. Anything that gives the team a better chance at 2 points in this shortened season you have to do.

I love how they pretend it was worth a discussion to see who would be in net tonight

I can understand that Potvin but I think is was a mistake to even bring Radek back. Isles need to turn the page. I hope Hickey gets the play every game this year and unless he is horrible keep putting him out there. Isles need to find out who can play this year and be ready to make moves this offseason.

I agree. A team that always seems to battle injuries shouldn't have signed a guy made out of wet newspaper to begin with

I actually agree with that 100 percent.

But, since he is on the team, I'd say play him if it gives us a better chance to win. I admittedly know next to nothing about Hickey though, other than he is big.

I know we cannot give up the season already but let's be honest this season is basically about buying time for the prospects. I think it's more important to find out about Hickey. He know all about Radek and there is no future there. If all works out he will be off the team next year. I use Radek only in case of injuries or if someone is playing lousy.

But Martinek at "100%" now isn't Martinek at 100% 7 years ago. He's older, slower, and far more beaten up than he was when he was a great defenseman.

I'd rather have a hungry young kid like Hickey given a shot than an old, broken Martinek.

Calder: Mikael Granlund, Minnesota Wild
Selke: Jordan Staal, Carolina Hurricanes
Jack Adams: Jack Capuano, New York Islanders

You don't seem to mind when your victims scream. I guess you just like that ultra high pitch of the neighborhood children.
