Dallas has really started to flip it's roster. I've been wondering how a lot of Stars fans have felt about it all.

Dallas has needed to do this for several years. The time is right because now there are finally young legitimate NHL caliber players ready to step up. Players like Morrow and Robidas can still be effective but only in a more limited role.

It's annoying but probably necessary. You have to decide what you want more to see a successful franchise or your favorites. If the guys are winning they'll probably become favorites.

To respond to Bill's blog. Just because Benn is the best player on the team doesn't mean he has to be captain. I hate to admit it but Modano was the best player for years and not a great captain.

I think you guys will dig Roy, it'll be cool to see what he can do with another team. I know a lot of Sabres fans have plenty of crap to talk about him, and yeah, he can be a major d-bag, yeah, he can be a bit of a nancy, but his point production makes up for it. He can seriously be clutch.

It's good to hear a few Buffalo fans saying good things about him. There is no doubt you'll love Ott, the guy is really good to the fans and a blast to watch. No doubt he's all grit though, he'll clank them off the iron with regularity.

Still I think it was a good trade, you guys needed grit and we need playmakers.

I agree that the best player is not necessarily the best captain. But I would be very, very surprised if Benn doesn't get the C by next year.
