The National TV schedule is also out, the Preds will get six appearances… that’s right… six appearances. Three on NHL Network, one on TSN and two on NBC Sports Network. Only one of these games will be at home, the Sunday April 14th tilt against Detroit.

The Preds are a good team that deserve more national attention than they've gotten in the past, so it's good that they're getting more than the usual one or two game exposure, however, I won't be impressed with the national coverage until these networks start recognizing that games at The Bridge are a pretty damn entertaining experience.

Oh, and btw, Carrie Underwood isn't the only celebrity in our building.

"Odd start times – Game two of the season has a 5pm start time..."

Monday 1/21 is MLK Day, hence the 5pm start.

.
..Christmas break in the CBA. Now, no practice, travel or games are allowed on 12/14,25 and 26."

Dec 24th, 25th & 26th unless the 26th is a Saturday in which case it will be the 23rd, 24th & 25th,

Honestly, it annoys me that the Preds keep picking holidays that more than half the working force does NOT have off for their 5pm starts. Why not 6 if they want an early game? MLK Day is not a heavily observed holiday, and most people get off work at 5pm. It's not really fair to those who do have to work. They do this on Columbus Day too, another holiday almost no one who doesn't work in a bank or for the govt gets off.

Doing her part to help fill the arena. Good on you D! (I'd help but I have an excuse. Really, I do.)

Speaking of the Bridge, with the reg season stretching to near the end of April and the SC playoffs potentially going until the June 28, it's likely to get humid and warm in Nashhhhhhhhvul. Great timing for us to have the significantly upgraded HVAC/dehumidifying system here - it will be needed.

Take that Benedict Suter and stuff it where the sun fails to shine.

Nice new handle there Blue.

Watched TSN top 50 players last night. Peks 27 Benedict 26 and El Captain # 7. They thought Webs would do just fine without Suits to hold his hand.

I agree. The thoughts that Shea needed B.S. to hold his hand is just that, BS. Might have had some validity earlier in both of their careers - more like holding each other's hand - but not now. Weber is more focused and more intense than ever. He won't be putting SueTer's mug on any milk cartons.

Will be an interesting season - not much time for pondering, reflection and adjustment. Basically it's hit the ice guys and play your asses off. No slumps allowed. (Wishful thinking.)

Yeah the normal definition of a slump will have to be changed. This year a slump will be anything more than 2 losses in a row. And TooTs let town so where do we get the list of slump-busters?????

Did you guys see the replay last night on Fox???? 1999, Vokie in net, young Doan, young Briere and Chris Mason as the backup WITH HAIR!!!!!!!!

I saw an article on yahoo about Suter already whining about struggling to adapt to the Mn. Wild way!!! Maybe BT wasn't so bad after all. I hope Becky got her dream house!
